I just got it and havent tried it yet because its for my daughters birthday. I will say that it is a different color than the one shown but it is still monster high and thats all that matters. Also you can hook up your ipad and iphone on this and its not listed in the description. Will update on if it works after we use it.

i order the monster high karaoke system with camera with toy-r us and i got another karaoke machine, i called them telling them that they sended me the wrong one, they said they were gonna send me the rigth one and once again they send me the same one i already had, so i call them again telling them the problem and this time they already had change the picture to the one i got. but they forgot to change the item descriptions which this one didn;t have no camera no front loading cd and does not have the 20 track song program and is not measured diagonally. when i told them about this they acted like i was crazy that i was the one that was wrong. i sended one of the karaoke machines back and kept one because i was looking on [@] and they got the same mistake the high end karaoke machine they got there does not have a camera and all the stuff they say it has. now i have to buy my daugther a karaoke cd in order for her to use it and once again this is a rip off.

I blame Monster High more than TRU because this happened to me at TRU and [@]. Monster High tried to pass off a completely different product as the model number listed. TRU has quickly changed the picture on the main page but the old picture remains on the review page. TRU still lists the original features which includes a camera. The model sent does not have a camera and is completely different colors. I will be returning it and will not do business with such a disreputable company as Monster High. TRU, you better get control of this or they will drag you down with them.

Bought 2 of these for Christmas. One for my girls and the other for my Niece. The camera was not the best but at least they could see themselves. Our problem was that the words would freeze on the screen and all you could see was alphabet soup. As you can imagine this was a very big disappointment on Christmas morning,

The item arrived without the microphone, and without the cable that connects it to the T.V. Also, it takes 6 batteries, which was not indicated on the box. If you want to admire something on Christmas morning that is completely unusable, and you need something else in your house to dust, this is your toy!

I bought this for my 5 year old future rock star neice. I have spent a lot of time reading reviews online looking at the different kinds of machines that come with video cameras. I was very leary because they did not have many good reviews. We bought the product last night and tried it right away when we got home. The machine itself is very light and the camera worked! I do like the option to either hook it up to a TV or use the built-in moniter with the video camera. The camera itself is nothing special but it does the job decently. I can only imagine the videos we will have come Christmas.

I bought this product for my 5 year old neice as a Christmas present. I was very leary because of the reviews being all over the board with these type (ones with video cameras) of karaoke machines. We bought the product last night and we hooked it up right away when we got home to make sure it worked before Christmas. The unit itself is very light. The camera worked! It is nice that you can hook it up to a TV or use the built in moniter. I am looking forward to seeing her play with this for Christmas, I can only imagine the videos we will have.
