my wife got me this helicopter for xmas sort of as a joke, but dang i love it. It is fairly easy to pickup the flying of this toy. Handles well even indoors. Flies high, I had it up at least 30 ft. in the air. Warning it is tough to control when windy out.Also very durable. Ive crashed it many times in the 5 days Ive had it and it keeps flying.

I liked the idea of using my phone as a remote, but it is built cheap and parts cost a arm and a leg with poor customer services.

It's really not a bad unit. Indoors it works great. Just need plenty of room. Outdoors, well that's a different story. IT MUST BE A DAY WITH ABSOLUTELY NO WIND! If there is any sort of breeze it will go with breeze. The charge does not last that long what so ever. Allthough it takes about an hour for a full charge it will only fly for less than 10 minutes.

3 channel heli is easy to learn how to fly and makes a good inexpensive beginner heli to practice with before moving up to a 4 channel heli.The price here is all wrong though. You can have this heli shipped all the way from the maker in china for almost half the price. Interceptor. com You will find yourself having to go there anyway to order replacement gears. Very durable and sturdy other than the main gears are weak and crack if you crash just right (impact the side of the heli). You can get a 26" 3 chan. Double Horse heli for just about $5 more [@] but it is a bit more fragile and you will find yourself spending a little more on parts. 3 and 4 channel RC Helicoptors can not fly against even the slightest breeze but the interceptor is small enough to fly indoors. But remove all breakables from the room first.

I've owned this r/c copter for while and really enjoy flying it over some other general co-axial machines available. If you've never flown an r/c copter before this is a nice learner. Crashes will happen, take it easy, learn the controls and practice in large uncluttered areas (empty garage). Adding a bit of weight near the nose will help in forward flight as the rear propeller isn't that strong and certainly not recommended for outdoor use. It is a very stable machine and will hover fairly steady. I have had to replace a set of main blades and the main gear due to my own crashes. Repairs were straight forward and parts were readily available from the company web site. Enjoy, be safe.

First model was broke out of the box. Second model barely flew then broke landing skid after less than 6 flights.

this thing is junk had to wait for one to be shipped for my son (this is the second one) when it arrived first flight the throttle stuck and crashed will return and never again will we buy one!!!!!!!!!!!

First one failed a gear internally within the first 3 flights. Never crashed and was flying normally when the gear broke. Replacement one doesn't fly right out of the box. Seems to loose radio signal and just flys off on its own for a few seconds then quits. All batteries fully charged and still same problem. Taking this one back too

This helicopter looks awesome!! I read the previous reviews about it breaking easily, but still bought it because others raved about it. Well, it does look great and it moves well in the air. However, any inexperienced flyer is going to have problems controlling it, and if it hits the ceiling (with the top of the blades) it drops like a rock and it's done. My husband loved it and took it out to his building Christmas Day and was flying it around. A few minutes later, he was in with a broken helicopter--bummer. None in the store, had to return it. :-( BUY THE 15 MO WARRANTY it will be worth the extra couple of dollars!
