the sharp shot is a great little pistol. itholds 4 darts and comes with a cool little belt clip. i is cocked very easily and shoots 25 feet it is very good better than a nitefinder.

look the thing with nerf is that they have teens around the age of 15-19 year olds doing there commercials, but meanwhile there guns dont shoot far because there policy designs the guns for kids under the age of 12. overall this gun is cool looking but shoots poorly with range

This blaster is as others have said disappointingly average in performance out of the box.
It is very cool looking and has smooth action.
Mine hits 15 feet consistently, sometimes 20.

A great starter blaster for those interested in learning to mod, as a few simple ones will have it hitting 30 to 40 feet on average.

Avoid this gun.

I'm a big Nerf fan and am heavily disappointed in the Sharp Shoot.

I picked one up the other day and couldn't believe the performance! Out of the box, this gun shoots on average 15 feet (yes, 15...). Sometimes it only shoots 5 feet! The farthest I've ever seen it go is 20 feet.

The visual look of the gun is great. I really like the design of it. It also has a very smooth pull back and a smooth trigger pull.

I took the gun apart to see why the performance was so bad and discovered a very thin O-Ring around the plunger. I think if Hasbro put a thicker O-Ring on this gun it would fire a lot better. The spring is also very, very weak. It was well lubricated at least.

The 3 dart compartments built into the gun leave indention marks on the darts (how did this make it into the final design?).

I really hate to leave a negative review on such a good-looking and good handling gun, but in the end, the performance of a Nerf gun is the most important aspect, and this gun simply doesn't deliver. Avoid it and pick up a Nitefinder, Maverick, or Buzz Bee Ultimate Snipe Blast, all of which shoot 25-30 feet average out of the box.
