Our oldest son used a standard SnugRide and it worked well for him. Unfortunately we can't say the same when our daughter arrived, it was definitely too big for her. To resolve this we purchased the SnugRide 30 and it turned out to be the perfect fit.

Comparing our older SnugRide to the SnugRide 30...the 30 was heavier, but I feel that the fabric is made with a higher quality material and the plastic was sturdier. On the downside, the infant head support fit her for only the first month. Once we moved the harness up a notch the head support was discarded.

Like a few reviews I've seen before, I definitely recommend this for preemies and low weight newborns.

Overall we're very pleased with our purchase, especially with the discounted price (promotional code) and free shipping.

I love this seat even though I have not gotten to use it yet, I'm not due until April. I love the colors and I love how the pattern area is a suede like material. It weighs about as much as the normal Snugride. It's super easy to install and adjust!

This is the only carrier I have ever owned and have only used it for a short time, but so far I have no complaints. It works just as a carrier should in my opinion. I love the newborn insert. It keeps my baby's head nice and steady. She seems very comfortable in it and we were able to secure the base in easily. Anyone looking to buy an extra base for a second vehicle should know that it fits the snugride 35 base and not the original snugride base. None of the reviews or product guide lines mentioned it so I ended up having to return my base which was a difficult process.

I bought a SnugRide 30 seat because I am expecting twins and own a sedan, and still have my daughter's infant SafeSeat. Between the SafeSeat and her current booster chair, I didn't have a lot of room left in the backseat of my car for just any car seat, so I researched sizes within the Graco brand (which I swear by, their products are fantastic). SnugRide 30 was the only seat that would fit within the inches I had left in my backseat.

I chose the Carlisle design because I live in Texas, and the only girly print I saw available at Babies R Us (in store and online) was an almost fleece/velour material, which would be too hot. The Pippin design was cute, but not girly enough for me. Carlisle had the material I preferred as well as the being girlier than Pippin. It is the lighter, cotton-y material that I know will stay cool and be easy to clean. The seat padding is plush and feels comfortable. The blue color is a bit brighter than in the picture, which was a pleasant surprise, and the included shoulder-strap covers are a bonus!

I've already installed it in the car with the other two seats and it fits! *It does not have the seatbelt "clamp" that the safeseat has, in the part on the base where you thread the seatbelt. However, my car has the security seatbelts that lock when they are pulled all the way out, which when engaged make the base and therefore car seat very secure. Keep that in mind if you will not be using the latch and your car's seatbelts do not lock when pulled all the way out.

Overall I'm thrilled!
