I had a Graco Infant SnugRide 22 for my first 2 children, and it was lightweight and perfect for the first year plus a bit. I want the same ease of use for my 3rd child, and have had a VERY HARD time finding the SnugRide22.... I mean really, who wants to lug around a WALKING 17 month old in a Car Seat, that with the child laying down in it, weighs up to between 30 and 40 lbs? Once you have had children you realize how undesirable an option that is. ALso, the child will want to be walking on his/her own by that point. Anyway, Babies R Us has stopped carrying the 22lb car seat because all the first time parents think, yeah, lets get one that will last us the longest... but I am so glad they still carry this, the BLACK version of the 22 lb base, with the LATCH system! Thank you... and all you parents will see later on that I am correct, by the time your child is 30, 35 or 40 lbs, you won't want to be putting them in this style rear facing seat! And every pound counts when you are lugging around a 10 month old baby in a snap and go car seat....ALL my friends have COMPLAINED COMPLAINED COMPLAINED about how heavy it gets.... and they end up switching out of the 30, 35 or 40 lb options as soon as they can, because they can't physically carry them any more! When the baby starts getting heavy, go ahead and get a rear/front facing Britex (or another brand) they will use till they are 60 or 70 lbs! You will have to get one eventually any way!

Works great. Must be used with the Snugride carrier. Will not work with Snugride 30, 32, 35 etc. Quick and easy to install and use.

Can't use. Bought @ consignment sale, wasted my money. wish I had read the comment before buying.
Suggest you show what bases fit the infant seat. :-(!!

I agree with other post; this base DOES NOT fit the SNugRide 30 car seat. We were looking for a second base so we could have a permanent base in each car and it is very hard to find information regarding which car seats this base will actually fit. Turns out after ordering, it does not fit the SnugRide 30 seat, so, we are going back to Babies R US to return it and hopefully find a suitable base. Graco needs to explicitly list which seats go with which bases so as to avoid confusion.

This seat may work just fine for a smaller car seat but I am giving it a one star because of my experience. I also want to let people know that this base DOES NOT work with the SnugRide 30 seat.

I was told on the phone by a Toys/Babies R Us rep that this base would fit with the SnugRide 30 so I ordered it online. I got it home and it definitely does NOT fit. I brought it back to my local Babies R Us and exchanged it for a SnugRide 35 Adjustable Base, which they said would fit the 30. I found it pretty confusing that nowhere online does it state clearly that this base does or does not fit certain SnugRide seats. I was also dissapointed that the service person on the phone did not know the answer and gave me the wrong answer.

The one good thing was that Babies R Us is great about returns and took back my base without the box it came in or a paper receipt.
