    Much more sturdier than the plastic mat that comes in the tub of soldiers and will last longer. Stays in place on carpet while kids are playing with it.

          I got this for my 6 year olds birthday. He loved it and has already used it quite a bit setting up his little army men and legos on it. It's made of a material that will last a long time not the flimsy plastic stuff.
