The scenario revolves around the inhabitants of the Shark Tooth Island who are being troubled by a fierce shark by the name of "the Booga". The player then must rescue a boy and a professor from an island where they were marooned by the Booga.

My son loves Poptropica so he was so excited to get this toy. Then he tried to do a costume change and the head broke off during the first try. He was devastated. It was the last one in the store so I could not get him another one. But from reading the other reviews, this happens to all of them. The large Blimp toy is great though. Nothing has broken yet.

The ball joint connector on the figure's body broke off the same day my nine year old got the toy. I returned it for a refund.

My child rec'd for Christmas and loved the products until she actually played with them. When you change the heads and costumes, they are very hard for smaller children. The heads are on balls and broke after the 3rd change. Took the product back and rec'd another set, differnt characters and the same thing happened with the second set changing of the heads. These balls that come off would be very dangerous to smaller children. These character should have been tested better.

I bought two poptropica toys for my 8 yr old who just loves the game. The first set the leg broke off right out of the package. The second set, the hero one, the pegs were broke and the costume doesn't stay on. Awful product.
