We received this as a gift before our son was born. He is now almost 11 months and wakes up during the night and is restless. He's been sleeping through the night since 3 months. This mattress is too soft now and isn't comfortable for him anymore. I feel the springs as well. I was hoping to use it for his toddler bed as well but I will have to replace it.

Bought this to go on a toddler princess bed. It arrive quickly. About a week before the bed. I think it looks good and fits the bed tight, no gaps to get caught in. This bed and mattress will only be used for visits so it should last awhile. I think I would have spent a little more if I thought it would be used every day. There aren't any metal edges to keep mattress from sagging, but for our purpose it will work

I brought this home for our 3rd child, and after comparing it to what we have for the other 2 kids, I turned around and brought it right back to the store. This mattress is so flimsy, and unsubstantial that I can't imagine is provides support for more than a small baby.
I ended up buying a mattress that was twice this price, but so far it seems well worth the extra cost.

Purchased this supportive mattress for our pit bull mix after finding orthopedic dog beds VERYVERY expensive online. It now "beds" an additional pit and both dogs (65 & 27 lbs) sleep soundly on it. I no longer have to worry about their bones "sinking" to the hard floor, thus causing joint problems later in their lives.

I purchased this mattress for my 2nd son. Fit perfectly for a standard size crib. He outgrew the co-sleeper (big baby) at 3 months. He has been sleeping in it comfortably for about 3 weeks now. It's a nice firm mattress at a great price.

If I could return this mattress I would. I bought it because it was relatively inexpensive and I needed an extra crib mattress, as we have a baby on the way and my 2 year old is going into a toddler bed. I would never put an infant in this mattress, even though its supposedly rated for 0 to 4 yrs. Infant mattresses are supposed to be firm. This mattress is anything but. It feels like a half deflated air mattress. It practically folds in half when you attempt to put it into the crib. I think it should be recalled as an infant mattress, as I would think it would be a danger for SIDS.

This is such a great product! After concerns about the allowed levels of emissions in baby crib mattresses I called the company who quickly and kindly informed me that this product was flame retardant from a cotton based formula instead of the harmful chemicals found in most less expensive crib mattresses. My baby sleeps soundly on this mattress and now I can sleep soundly aswell. Kolcraft has a customer for life.

I bought 2 of these crib mattresses for my soon to be twin boy grand children. They came as advertised and are in the cribs that I bought and just waiting for the babies! They seem great!

Just moved my baby to his crib a week ago, he sleeps just fine on the mattress. The problem is that there's practically nothing to this mattress, there is already an indent where his bottom rests, and I can see the mattress sink in quite a bit from his weight. You get what you pay for and I guess it'll last us a couple more months, but my son is only 11lbs, so I can't imagine how the mattress will work when he's bigger.
