The airflow pocket ensures that the mattress will stay fresh at all times. The use of small metal vent parts is no longer necessary with this convenient design.
Waterproof cover
The waterproof surface allows you to easily wipe away wet substances or soiled surfaces with a damp cloth. Allergens and dust mites will not adhere to the mattress as a result of the hypoallergenic pearl-embossed waterproof cover.
Square corner design
The mattress features a square corner design specifically made for cribs. The corners allow for a snug and secure fit in the square edges of your baby's crib.

The Sealy Soybean Foam-Core Crib Mattress with lightweight, high-density foam made with soybeans is a Soy based foam-core that offers improved durability over conventional foams and uses Renewable Resources instead of crude oils. This Soy based high-density foams provide reduced sagging and increased durability to provide firm support for sleeping infant. The entire cover and lock-stitched binding are wet-resistant and wipe clean, preventing allergens from clinging to the mattress. It has square-cut corners for snug to fit in cribs and can move to a toddle bed as your child grows. This product is also lightweight to easily change sheets.     After much research this is the mattress choice.
    It is super light weight so when mom is bending over to change sheets it will be easy to maneuver. Also the fact that the corners are squared as opposed to rounded is a notable safety factor. It fits in the crib perfectly snug.
    The price was great, I expected to pay much more for a mattress with such high ratings from reputable sites. It's for both infants and toddlers. The waterproof cover is an allergen and dust barrier. Has a Lifetime warranty, that means something :)
    Meets or exceeds all flammability, lead, phthalate and CPSIA testing and does not contain toxic fire retardants.
    Can you tell we shopped around?? And the best price was to be found here too!

        I chose this particular mattress after much research and I have to say I am NOT disappointed. My son will be 5 months and he has no issues sleeping on this mattress. He seems to be very comfortable and sleeps well on it. The price has gone up significantly since we purchased it last May by about $40, but the mattress is worth the money. I'd recommend it if your a parent willing to spend the money on a good mattress. Even though one small issue was the smell at first when you remove the plastic, but that quickly faded away. I recommend letting it air for a day or so before using/assembling your crib/mattress.

        I absolutely love this mattress. I honestly don't have any complaints. I love that there are no springs underneath. It had a funny smell when it was first opened but that faded pretty quickly. It's firm with just the right amount of cushion. I replaced our Serta mattress with this one and I am so glad I did.

            I registered for this mattress because of the reviews I saw online, I wanted something safe and natural for my baby to sleep on, he hasn't arrived yet but I do believe it will hold up very nicely, its firm yet soft enough and has a nice plastic covering for leak proof protection!

              Mattress fits great in crib. Although our little guy isn't here for another 11 weeks the mattress seems to be stury (not too hard or too soft) and I like that it fits snugly into each corner of the crib.

                I bought this mattress for the baby we are expecting in April however when it arrived my 2 yr old knocked it over onto the floor, grabbed a blanket and took a nap on it! I am so much happier with this mattress than the mattress I had gotten for my first daughter. There are no coils to be felt in the mattress, it is waterproof but not as crinkly as other mattresses and it is still firm enough to feel safe. The mattress is more square shaped however this does not seem to matter since the mattress conforms to the shape of the mattress pad. I will now be purchasing another one of these mattresses so both children can have this higher quality mattress.

                  We bought this for our son who is now 17 months old. He is a rowdy little boy who loves to bounce around in his crib, and it has never lost its firmness.There are no indents where he sleeps. It looks just like it did when we bought it. It is also great because it is water proof. There have been a couple times he has been ill, and the mattress wipes clean very easily. It also fits well in the crib. There are no gaps. My husband and I are purchasing this same mattress for our new son who will be here in May. Overall, it is a bit expensive, but worth the price. I see it lasting us all the way through his toddler years
