Comments about Diamond 1001810 Universal Monsters Minimates Wave 2 Action Figures - Franken and Henry:

First off, minimates are small (2 inches tall) & are designed to be posed like their larger counterparts (they have around 14 points of articulation -- neck/waist/knees/etc). Parts & pieces are not permanently attached (they use ball joints & peg connections) for easy swapping of parts/accessories. Gluing them (as the previous reviewer did) destroys half the fun of these figures.

The biggest reason this set & others are on clearance is because they are older sets, and TRU wants to make room for the newer-released sets. At the low clearance prices these sets are a great buy -- maybe the other reviewer should have shelled out a little more for the regular UM action figures, instead of dumping on a product she didn't understand.

If small, super-posable, parts-swappable figures like these do not appeal to you, then stick with regular action figures. But if all of those things DO appeal to you, then buy minimates. You won't be sorry you did.

They are very tiny (1 1/2 inches long). They are made up of segmented pieces. When I opened up the packages 2 of the 6 mini mates had pieces that had already fallen off in the package. I had to glue them because their feet wouldn't stay on. My son loves all of the Universal Monsters and loves action figures. He was happy... I was not. They were on clearance when I bought them and I still don't think they were worth that price.
