Great Toy

My nephew loves the rapid fire power launcher. He is 5 and hasn't had any trouble using it. I've seen him use it to battle with his friends and for target practice on the basement floor. He got more dags for Christmas so he now has plenty of ammo for his launchers. Great toy

don't waste your money on this toy

Pros:
-attractive packaging makes this toy irresistible to impressionable young kids

Cons:
-flimsy construction - I give this thing half an hour in the hands of my son
-launch mechanism is so difficult to use even I had difficulty with it. There's no way a four year old could operate this on his/her own (& the package says 4+)
-zero educational value
-no long term excitement
-tricks you into buying more & more pieces to build a Dagedar empire
-box suggests it comes with four launch balls, but the package actually only contains two

Thank goodness this was a gift & we didn't spend any money on it. I'm going to find a way to make this toy disappear ASAP, if my son doesn't break it first. Terrible. Never buy this toy. I'm surprised & disappointed that it even made it to market.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

FUN BATTLE PLAY

DaGeDar is great creative play, and my kids love the launchers. They get on the floor and shoot it out with one another. It's a fun addition to the DaGeDar tracks. Love it!

Questionable

My son used a giftcard to buy a few Dagedar items. This item in particular, I thought would be great, but is hard to use, even for an adult. The side pieces keep coming off.
I also thought that we would be able to hook it on to the track somehow. I guess it's a stand alone piece?
