These bumpers were easy to install on the crib. I had woken up many nights with my baby's feet and arms going through the crib slots. This worried me as he moves around a lot now. He's almost 4 months old. The safari print was cute and matched the rest of his animal themes. You can see through the mesh with the lights on and if the baby does get close to the side, he can breahte through the mesh. I feel much more comfortable sleeping at night, knowing he can't roll over and get his little arms or legs stuck in the crib slats. They work on all types of cribs and there is an easy video to watch, if the instructions aren't clear for your crib.

The breathable bumper has a side with larger holes and a side with smaller holes. If you purchase the solid bumper without an image, the larger holes (breathable side) will always face the inside of the crib. However, after installing the Safari bumper on our crib, I noticed the long panel has the large holes facing outside the crib on 3 sides. The short panel does it correctly as the large holes face inside the crib (toward your baby). If you put the bumper up against your face with the pattern facing your mouth, you will realize it is very difficult to breathe through. If you repeat this step with the plain side (large holes) facing your mouth, it is much easier to breathe through. I do NOT feel this product is safe as 3 sides of the crib are lined with small holes (the print side). If your baby faces up against this side, it will be very difficult for him/her to breathe. This product is very misleading.

If you would still like a breathable bumper, I recommend the solid liners. Our friends have one and all of the large holes face the inside of the crib. The Safari bumper will have 3 sides that are not "breathable" to your baby.

We ordered this for our 6 month old, and I sleep so much better knowing he's safe! He rolls all around the crib during the night, and loves sleeping in the cracks on the side. A couple nights after we got it on his crib, I went in his room to check on him, low and behold his face was right against the bumper. I can breathe so much easier knowing he can still breathe though!

The only dislikes I have about it, is that I wish the ties were made out of cloth so they tied better/stronger, if Cameron pulls on the bumper a lot then he can grab the tie and and untie it trying to chew on it. Also, because it's so thin and lightweight, he can pull on it the bumper and slide it down easily and the other night got his foot stuck in between the bars.

Other then those 2 things, I love them! Super cute print, and safe!

This is exactly what we wanted. The pic is exactly correct. The animals display to the child on the back and the sides of your crib, and the animals face away from your child on the front. Look at the picture. I have no idea what some of the earlier reviewers were talking about. I highly recommend this product. My wife and I now can sleep easy knowing that our son can't get his arms and legs caught in between his crib slabs. These bumpers are absolutely perfect

I would skip buying a bedding set and just buy this product and sheets. I am only using sheets and dust ruffle from my bedding set since they recommend not using bumbers anymore and not putting anything else in the crib other than the sheet. This is a great, safe alternative to a normal bumper. My baby was moving around so much at night that I started to get worried that he would get his foot caught, this eliminates those worries. It's very cute and matches his decor.
I was able to install quickly, although I need to go back and smooth out some areas.

My baby always ends up in the corner of the crib so we got the breathable bumper and its worked great, no more worries! he really likes the texture of it too.

I like this product because it seems safer than a traditional bumper. I hesitated buying one in the past due to the plain design. I excitedly purchased the Safari pattern thinking that my baby would have a view of the animals all around his crib. Beware that the short panel faces out. So my son only has three sides of pattern to look at. I would rate it higher if it had a visible pattern on all sides.

I wrote a review about this saying the picture is not on the inside. Well, it actually is, just not all the way around the crib. the long piece has the picture on the inside while the shorter piece has the picture on the outside. It is kind of a weird setup but still does what it should and you don't have to worry about it getting in the way as much when you change the sheets as with other crib bumpers.

I have used these crib bumpers before but I just had plain white. It is cute that they come in a print now. The picture, however, is a little misleading because the jungle pictures faces the OUTSIDE of the crib and not the INSIDE. The inside is just a cream color. So my son doesn't really have anything to look at. I don't know where they got this picture from because you can't install it with the pictures on the inside of the crib because there are ties that you are supposed to tie to keep it secure. A little disappointed.
