Made from durable fabric for long wear, the Step2 60 inch Stripped Umbrella - Maroon is an extra large umbrella that helps protect children from the sun, wind and rain. The Step2 60 inch Stripped Umbrella is designed to provide protection from the sun and the damaging effects of ultraviolet rays. The umbrella has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 40+, which means it blocks up to 97% of UVA and UVB rays.

The Step2 60 inch Stripped Umbrella measures 5 foot in diameter and adjusts to heights between 45" and 67". The umbrella has 8 strong, resilient support ribs that absorb the wind without breaking or disfiguring. The gray telescoping pole with pointed base drives into the ground or sand easily and can be used separately whenever shade is needed. The easy push up opening and closing by an adult is recommended. Minimal adult assembly is required.

We don't have any trees so I purchased this for the picnic table to provide shade for when my kids are outside. It provides plenty of shade & I also like that it can tilt slightly since it doesn't fasten in.

Purchased this to replace a smaller umbrella that rendered no shade when sitting at the table and only covered the table. This replacement umbrella sure did the job covering more area but was quite a bit more of a thin material than the original one that came with the table. The material is the same as a windbreaker jacket would have. Otherwise, I am pleased with my purchase & love the shade it provides. It is much more adjustable than the original one as well. I was also pleased that it fit into the hole on the table. I was worried. Good buy for the money.

These are our 2nd set of umbrellas. The first 2 were same colors but different design which came with a water/sand table, and another i purchased to match a picnic table. I prefer these colors over bright kids colors since they blend in good with my own grown up deck and pool furnishings! they lasted a long time and were used for many summers! However, i suggest to have an adult open and close them since if not handled properly, could brake easily. I was excited to find that after severaly yrs i could still get replacements with same color scheme.
