Apparently no one read the description where it says its less than 12" maybe we should lean to read OR go out to the store and look at what we are buying. That being said my son loves his.

Im still laughing...As with ALL of the other reviews, (except the dope that said this is the correct size hahaha!!),this is terrible. THANK GOD I didn't buy it as a gift for someone elses child! I'd be terribly embarrassed!! This is a HUGE joke...WASTE OF MONEY DO NOT BUY!!! Unless you are looking for a gag gift...HAHAHAH ridiculous!!

      Product was not for role playing unless you are about 12 inches tall. This should not be confused with the larger sword, this is more like a letter opener and not what my child wanted.

      So I had less of a problem with the toy itself than the description.

      So Small!

      I bought this one and the deluxe version so my 5 year old could "fight" with my husband. I figured that I could cheap out on the second one (for my husband) because he doesn't need the sounds feature, but it would be fun just to have someone for my son to go against. It is soooooooo small, I have to return it. It's too small for a 4 or 5 year old, especially considering that most kids are used to seeing the Star Wars light saber swords which are MUCH bigger. This seems puny.

      This sword is smaller than the 8 inch collector figures. It might be scaled for a keychain or a newborn infant. If you're going to buy a sword for your kids to play with get the deluxe.

      Pocket Knife of Omens

      I bought both the Basic and Deluxe versions of the Sword of Omens and I have to agree with the first review (about it being a 'knife'. But then considering the size of the child they expect to play with it and the Claw Shield, I guess the size is accurate.

      Unless you're a die-hard fan of the show and MUST have it, get the Deluxe and leave it at that.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      This is not a "small knife" as the previous reviewer stated. It is a replica of the sword of omens before it extends just as in the cartoon. It also is meant to go with the claw toy and fits inside..just as in the cartoon.
