Exterior of the house is fully detailed on all sides, too! Exploration can continue outside the house in the front and around the sides. Windows are cut-out on the front and trimmed with shutters; and there is a working front door with knob.

I just got this house for my Granddaughter. It is just beautiful! I was looking for a small house for her and this is perfect. It was not hard to put together--most of the pieces just interlock. There are only 5 screws to put in. The rooms are small but nicely decorated. I like that the back of the house closes for storage. I did not care for the furniture that came with it. I will buy her some tiny furniture at the local craft store. Do shop around--I got this for less on another web site. We are pleased with this purchase and would buy this again.
