I actually bought these for cleaning pump parts, but they do work great for straws as well. It is impossible to get into tiny crevises with regular nipple brushes, but these do the trick.

This is an awesome item! It is the perfect size. I only wish I had found it months ago. I use it on sippy cups, medicine droppers, breast pump tubing, and all the tiny little spots in the pump shields. Sure beats the pipe cleaners I was using, as those leave behind fuzzies. I am going to get two or three more packages.
