Our son is 5 months old and has this mobile on his crib. He LOVES looking at it! The animals are the perfect size and I love how each pair of animals has a Mommy/Daddy and baby animal. The music is loud and plays clearly. I highly recommend this mobile to all parents.

Animals were cute, but we had to return it as the music box was awful. The sound was tinny, out of tune and the notes weren't correct for the song. The mobile itself is fairly small and stays to the side of the crib. The arm piece does not bring the mobile away from the side enough to prevent the animals from bumping on it when they turn.

When we returned it to the store we listened to the music boxes on all the mobiles and decided against buying any more Lambs and Ivy mobiles because they all sounded tinny.

              This mobile didn't fit our crib to begin. When we wound it up to hear the music, it sounded out of tune and was extremely loud. It reminded me of a horror movie with clowns. I also didn't like there wasn't an off switch, so you just had to let the music play on. We ended up returning it, which was disappointing because I do think the animals are cute on it.

              Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                          The product was OK, but not worth the price. The biggest knock was the one we purchased was defective. The song box did not play correctly. When I reached out to the Lambs and Ivy, their response was contact us with a credit card and you can buy a replacement part for $5. Based on the customer service from Lambs and Ivy, I would recommend people avoid their products and choose another manufacture.

                          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                          The mobile is made for very standard cribs. If you have a crib that is decorated or has wide decorative top rails, you won't be able to mount the mobile properly. The mobile is decent - a little cheap for [$]- and you can mount it on the wall or crib (we ended up having to mount on the wall), but it still turned out ok. My rating is due to the fact that it wouldn't fit our crib.
