My husband and I were excited to get this because I told him how much my 9-year-old brother loved it when he was a baby. We couldn't wait to see our son play with it and we were certain he was going to like it. Well, we received a lovely pink and purple ball in the mail. It looks really girlie >:/ why have colors and styles vary, and not make them all neutral colored balls?! I don't give the actual toy a bad rating because I still love it and I'm excited to receive another for him. But it's a little difficult to order online and not know exactly what you're getting.

This is a simple toy but a great toy. Perfect for little hands. My 8 month old son loves it.

My brother bought this for my son for his first Christmas (he was a month old) and my son would swat at it all the time. After a few weeks, he began to hold it all the time and then slowly got into eating it. This ball is my sons all time favorite toy.
He can roll it and chase it now so they even find the toy can 'grow' with them

I received this as a shower gift. I didn't think much of it until a few of my friends got excited when they saw it saying it was a great toy. They were right. Around 2 months, my son started being interested. Then, as he grew he starting grabbing it. Now, at 4 months, it's one of his favorites. When I hold it in front of him, he stares and grabs it from me. He'll spend several minutes holding it with one hand, then two, then bringing it to his mouth, then holding it out in front of him with his arms extended. He does all this while cooing, laughing, and talking to it. Who knew? With all the fancy toys out there, I didn't even think to look at this. So glad to receive it as a gift. It's on my list of things to buy friends in the future.

We were given this toy as a gift for our 2 month old son and it has greatly improved his hand/finger control. Since it's so easy for him to grab onto, it has basically taught him how to grab and let go of objects. We love this toy because it's soft and he can't hurt himself. It's easy to hang like a stroller toy and easily washed. For a 2 month old, here is nothing negative I can say about this toy! I'm sure an older kid would have fun tossing it around, so the toy grows with your child! :)

I got this for my son when he was about a month an half old so he would have a toy that he could hold, and wouldn't hurt him if he hit himself in the face with it because of his developing motor skills. This has been great! I found one that has rattles in it too. I have oballs all over the house, and they really keep him happy. They are also easy to clean. Spritz with a little rubbing alcohol, wash off and dry, and they are ready for play again. Our Pediatrician also said it was one of her top ten favorite toys.

This is one of my 6 month old's favorite toys. The unique design makes it easy for him to grasp it, and I can only assume that as he gets a little older and more mobile- he'll get even more enjoyment out of it. Don't let its simple design fool you, this is a wonderful toy.
