We splurged and bought a Britax set for our son 4years ago. We made a big move cross country and thought we would get a new seat. Ugg. There is simply no comparison to the 2 seats. The cross secure latches are 1 strap. Britax had 2, making that seat easier to install properly. This seat is really bulky, and our daughters head always flops around when she sleeps, which didn't happen to our son in his seat. I also find that I can never strap her in tight enough. Today, nail in the coffin, like another poster mentioned, you can't take the straps out. My daughter threw up yogurt and it got down into the seat, and all over the straps. Which I can't wash, only wipe and pray I got it all. Gross. I do like that you can get the seat cover off without removing the seat, but really, for ease of use and cleaning this seat is inferior.

Had been working great until today when I noticed that the styrofoam at the base was broken in the exact same spot on each side. Design or construction fault I fear! We purchased it just over a year ago.

If you drive a small car be warned this seat is BIG. We joke that it is the Lincoln navigator of car seats. I drive a minivan where the first row of passenger seats are captain seats and you can not access the third row of seating by going thru the side with this car seat on it (that may change once it is forward facing). Overall though besides its size this is a great seat. Its keeping are smallish (weight wise) 15 month old rear facing longer. He is a tall tot though and still has plenty of leg room. And honestly with any car seat, if you want to get it really clean in those crevices you can not get to, I recommend either the high power sprayer on your shower head or a garden hose to get all the muck out and then obviously let the seat dry by tipping it over.

I have purchsed many seats over the years with our kids but this is by far my favorite! The safety features and ease of installation make it such a great choice. I wouldn't use it for an infant, but once our son outgrew his infant carrier, this has been great! He is 2.5 years old and still rear- facing comfortably!

We purchased this car seat after using a dofferent convertible car seat and being frustrated with it for my 15 month old. Since it is recommended toddlers stay rear facing until 2, my son can continue to be rear facing comfortably in the Evenflo Symphony. I put this seat in myself in the parkinglot of BRU without any issue. It's great!

This is just what we needed. It is a bit heavy, but we don't move it to often.

We bought this seat just over a year ago. It was easy to install, my 2 year old RF'd comfortably up to the 40lb weight limit. Now that the seat is FF, my 1st grader sits in it when the 2 year old isn't with us. 1st grader says the seat is comfortable and likes the 5pt harness better than her HBB. I have used this seat for 4 different children- ages ranged from 7 months up to 6 years. It is easy to adjust.

We bought this car seat a year ago and we still LOVE it. The easy adjust straps and head rest have been wonderful for our growing toddler!! If/when we have another baby, we will go directly into this seat. Thank you for such an awesome product!!!!

My daughter, husband and I love this car seat. We got this car seat after reading tons of reviews on other seats. We had it since she was about 16 months at 26 pounds and now she is 2 at about 30 pounds. It fits snug in our 2012 Chevy Tahoe with no problems. I was able to secure it by myself with no problems with the seat latch and the over the seat back latach. The first ride in it wasn't so pleasant because I installed it "too" upright". After reclining the seat a little, she has loved it. The best part for us is the adjustable shoulder straps. Depending on the weather, she may ride with a large coat, sweater, or no jacket at all. The adjustable straps allows you room to strap the child in and adjust once it's comfortable on the child's shoulder. The only challenge: it's heavy. But her car seat never leaves the car, so it's a win for us (my husband and mother's car have their own seat for her).
