I adore this stroller and so does my 11 month old daughter. We had the Baby Jogger city mini before, but just couldn't handle the small basket and the about of lag there was in the seat. So I started searching around. I am very familiar with the Bumbleride company, as I used to manage a baby boutique where we sold them. They are an amazing company and have a stroller that has a reversible handle...I just didn't want to spend that much. So I started looking into the Lamaze Indigo. I had read the few reviews I could find and they all mentioned squeaky wheels... I figured there had to be a fix. So before making my purchase I contacted 'The First Years' company and asked them to inform me of their customer service policy in case I had a problem. To shorten their response, 'they would take care of me.' So I went ahead and made the purchase. I love the stroller. It is so easy to put together. Pop on the wheels and you are ready to go. I constantly put the seat facing me cause my daughter and I have so much fun singing and playing peekaboo. When the seat is facing the parent, the basket is so easily accessible from the front. The other day I was able to fit my OiOi hobo diaper bag, my purse and my sons backpack all in the basket with room to throw a jacket or blanket. It is huge. I know I probably exceeded the basket weight limit, but it held up. The parent console is like a mini diaper bag...it holds so much! The seat back is 21" which is the same as the UppaBaby Vista...so don't think that it is too small. First time parents... you'll learn your children won't want to sit in their stroller very often past the two year old mark...sorry to tell you =) So you'll never hit the 50 lb weight limit. But it is great that it can handle that. Now, I've used the stroller for two weeks now, at least twice daily and the wheels did begin to squeak...I contacted customers service and they suggested one of two things. Silicon spray ($3 at [...]) or litithium grease. I bought the silicone spray, sprayed it on the back wheels axels and inside the wheels and there is no more squeak. Understand a stroller is a piece of equipment, like a car, you need to maintain it. So spray the wheels every once in a while and you have a great stroller with no squeaky wheels. The front wheels were not squeaking, but I sprayed them anyway and they turn so much easier now. For $200 less the 20% off coupon that Babies r us always sends out...amazingness! Enjoy!

Don't buy this stroller!!! I loved the design when i first saw it, so i bought it. 2 days after using it, the wheels start to squeak & starts to maneuver horribly. I accidents hit a few people because when your heading straight the wheels just decide to turn left. I absolutey hate this stroller, im taking it back today for a city mini stroller.

Also yes you can put wd-40 on the wheels but i shouldn't have to do that 2 days after i buy the stroller. Ridiculous!!

Comments about Lamaze Indigo Stroller - Grey/Black:

I absolutely love this stroller. I got the car seat for the stroller too and it was so convenient when I first had my daughter to just put her in the car seat and when I needed to put her into the stroller to just click the care seat on it.my daughter is now 17 months and we no longer use the car seat but the stroller itself has gone thru everything.only thing I would suggest is that once you don't use the car seat on it, if you have a small trunk, I have a Mazda 3, it will take up a lot of the space in the trunk. Otherwise. Its perfect and convenient!

Comments about Lamaze Indigo Stroller - Grey/Black:

I love this stroller! I had actually registered for another stroller and it was no longer in stock so I got this one! I love it! I love the different reclining positions and I love the fact that I can switch the seat from forward facing to rear facing so easily.

I do wish that it had sturdier cup holders and figuring out what number to call for customer service is a pain. I can't figure out the manufacturer's website.

As for the wheels not turning, we had the same issue after pushing it in the dirt for a few hours. I took the front wheels off, sprayed some canned air (like the stuff you use to clean electronics) up where the wheels go in. Then I sprayed a little tiny bit of spray oil lubricant to help lube them and I have not had an issue since. I think they just get messed up when they get dirty.

really like the feature of being able to flip seat to face forward or to face me. Only complaint is the wheels do tend to stick after awhile, but as others mentioned a little maintenance is all it needed. some wd40 fixed it up. I found in stores it worked better with the front wheels fixed and when walking out and about outside to unlock front wheels. great concept, good stroller. Could use a little improvement but satisfied buyer.
love how it folds down easily and pops up easily. very portible

I bought this stroller thinking i was getting an amazing product. I read the reviews and thought it can't be that bad. I have had nothing but trouble with this stroller, the frame has already been replace as it broke and the wheel got stuck. The stroller is 8 months old, now the car seat is stuck to the base and we can't get it off. Worst investment ever, yes its a pretty stroller but so not worth the hassel.

I was so excited when i got this stroller for my daughter. It's not pricey i can switched so i can see her. After 4 months the front wheels start locking and didn't want to turn or they stayed turned to the side and i couldn't go forward. If you put anything over 3LB in storage you can not turn and is really hard to even go forward.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR HEADACHE. FOLDING ON THE STREET TO PUT IT IN THE CAR - REALY UNCOMFORTABLE - MOST OF THE BOTTOM GETS DIRTY

Had seen this stroller in the store and liked it better than anything else I had seen. While very sturdy - it was not as heavy as most of them - which is what I was looking for. I am a grandmother and with the baby growing so fast it was hard for me to carry him around the house at times. I can put him in this stroller and wheel him around from room to room easily. He loves it. I have had absolutely no problems with the wheels squeaking - my floor is porcelain tile, I take him for walks outside on cement, grass and gravel and not a squeak. The wheels turn easily as well. The stroller was easy to put together - I am 71 and had no problems, so if granny can do it - so can you!

I actually bought one bc my Sister In Law has one, which she loves as well. I fell in love with hers. So i kind of got to test it out.
