It was on sale when I bought this gift. It made an awesome first Duplo gift. I like the set because it is more girl oriented than the usual vehicle theme. I regret not buying one for my son because I like the two figures and the cute duplo banana, cake, bread and tomatoes. You don't get very many building blocks. I suggest getting this set to start, and buy a tub of duplo bricks to expand your play. Great quality. Best of all, when you are giving legos, you always see a smile in the face because legos are fun!
