      Bought for my wheel crazy 2 yr old girl. Very few train wood railtrain sets have people with them. She and her 6 and 8 yr old sisters too. It rolls very well and is quite fun to play with.

        I bought this for my twins when their little sister was born, hoping to give them something to play with on their Thomas wooden train set. I love the people that come with it, and wish I could buy them separately, but the plastic tops on the trains come off very easily. This gets pretty frustrating to my 2.5 year olds, but for the price, you can't beat it!

        The bottom of the cars is wood, the tops are plastic. The front and rear cars have two lift-up tops to insert plastic people (or pennies, crackers, etc.). For the price, there's so much more to play with than just a wooden train engine or car. Has metal/magnet connections. Is lighter for our battery engines to pull around the wooden tracks. More to play with, more for your money.
