Poor Design

I was given this toy chest as a shower gift, and put it together myself at 37 weeks pregnant. If you get this, do not build it alone, it was a headache and a half.
The biggest problem with this toy chest is the hardware. Two of the cam locks did NOT work (thankfully I was able to put them both in the back and just drill some screws into the wood to keep the back from falling off, which it would have done without that)
The other problem was that the manufacturer had the holes for the screws pre-drilled, and they drilled the holes a bit too big, so some connections are very loose.
Overall, it was just a frustrating half hour and I can deal with the chest, it just should have been made better.

After assembling the toy chest, the screw holes putting the top on did not match up!! Had to dis-assemble re-package, return to store to exchange, and re-order!! Great inconvenience! My great Grand daughter received her first birthday present late!!

I bought two of these, one for my house and one for my grandsons house. It looks very nice in the living room, fits in well with the other furniture and my grandson not only loves to put his toys away now, he loves to sit on the top and watch his cartoons. Dual purpose....Love It!! Wasn't the easiest to put together with only two hands but well worth it.
