      My 2 year old daughter got this for her birthday with the Brio Travel Set and loves it. The crane is really cool since it can lift the gold out of the train that came with another brio train pack that we got her. The tracks work well with other trains she had so it is really versatile. She really likes all the components and the different cars and trains that came with it. We believe she will enjoy this for years to come especially since her 10 month old sister is already showing and interest in the trains and they can play together with the set with supervision since there are small parts.

      I personally prefer Brio more than Thomas and Friends. Brio is a Sweden company and their vehicles are very stylish.
      This set is very realistic, just like a mini city, especially with the unique road tracks. My son played with it for whole night with only one layout. He will try creating different layouts later and surely I will get him some other sets to create a bigger city!

      great play set. Roads are great and hot wheel cars are happy to drive on it. Typical Brio quality and design. So glad Brio is being sold in US again -- way expensive to order from UK!! Please Toys R Us, bring in the other Brio sets and trains!

          Love the wooden roads tracks...check them out! You can flip them over and they are double sided...my boy even puts his hot wheels on there and built a huge city with trains and cars!!
