We have purchased "real" drums in the past. Not only were they super noisy and large, but they broke (blessing in disguise)! These drum sticks are great! They make the sounds of drumming, but not nearly as loud. Plus, they light up, which my son loves!

    I bought 2 pairs for my 4yr old twin sons birhtday. Unfortunately I didnt put the batteries in before they opeend them so one was extremely disappointed when his pair did not work at all. The pair that did works was very cute, not very loud which I appreciate. Has different settings for different sounds which is very nice. I would recommend this product but definitely make sure it works before giving it. P.S. Customer support was very nice and immediately shipped me a new pair and send a prepaid UPS label for the defective

      I gave these to my 4 year old son for Christmas. He loves banging them around everywhere and they make an assortment of noises. The best thing about them, they aren't horribly loud! He can be banging away and I can hear them, but they aren't obnoxious.

          My son LOVES these drumsticks! I bought them for a Christmas present but he saw them so he ended up getting them early. My son is 3 years old and drums on EVERYTHING now. But I really do not mind seeing as these drumsticks have rubber tips...they do not damage anything or at least they haven't yet. LOL! They play music and talk too. They really are a neat toy, especially if your child is into ANYTHING Cars 2 like my son is.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
