      The softest blanket ever, just wish... it came in better colors!!! I bought this because my 2 year old just lost his Carter's heavy snuggle me jungle blanket that he uses for cold days in the stroller. Apparently Carter's doesn't make these heavy weight fleece blankets anymore, so I went to browse the blanket options in BRU so I could touch/feel them. This Koala Baby blanket was far and away the nicest, softest, warmest, snuggly feeling blanket in the store. The blue was very drab though and the only other option for a boy is sage green. The sage is really more of a 70s avocado green to me (which BTW I LOVE!), but I would have really loved to have the option to buy a second color for my 6 mo. old. An orange or yellow would have been great! I really disliked the blue so now I only have 1 green and will wait to see if more colors become available. I highly recommend it though. It washed nicely and my son loves it!

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          I received two Jumbo Giraffe blankets three years ago for my first baby shower and both my kids love using them especially on very cold nights. I am expecting my third and I wanted to have more on hand. I loved this design and wanted to order online but I made a trip to the store and I am glad I did. The blanket it very soft and well sewn but it is not as thick as the Jumbo Blankets by Koala Baby, so I decided to pass. I gave the sage three stars versus the four I gave the pink one because of the the color. I wanted the green but when I saw it in the store today, it looked dull and depressing not vibrant like in the photo online. It is still a nice blanket but the color may not be what you expect.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
