I bought this humidifier to use in my son's nursery when he is born, but have been using it for myself until then. It is very cute, and works well. Throughout the night it does make random bubbling or gurgling sounds, which may wake you up if you are a light sleeper like me. Not an issue that would stop me from buying it again though. The filters are a bit expensive, but what I failed to realize is that you only need to use them if you have hard water, which is good. Also, when you take the tank off to refill after each use, water does drip off, so have a towel handy. But I would definitely recommend this humidifier.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
