I love them! Annoyed that anyone gave this product low scores. At first I like others was disappointed by the surprising change in appearance and texture until I realized that this is supposed to happen after washing the cloths they become softer and wrinkly and puffy and SUPER ABSORBANT....I have used them for five months my 32 week preemies since birth and they have been one of my best buys...they absorb spitups liked no other , it never soaks through , they go with me everywhere.I tuck them right into side of car seats..they are great for bib, burp cloth, ...I used to use them at dr visits and fold into pillows to make table more comfortable , even used when they were newborns to cover babies at dr when there was a chilly office.....those who commented that they are rough they aren't....those people just tried to use them without washing them,...(yucksters).......my husband and I joke that we should buy some for dish towels bc they are more absorbent than any dish towel...I dont ever write reviews but this product is great for anyone looking for absorbent cloth....this product and the fisher price sleep nd play rocker are the best two products I would recommend for a new mom.

These make the best burp cloths. They're very absorbent, sturdy, and easy to clean. They look good even after daily use. I also bought some packs for my sister and she loves them too!

I was so surprised to see a low rating on these that I had to add my own. I LOVE these burp cloths and I'll tell you why. These cloths soak up spit-up like nothing I've ever seen. It never gets through to the other side. I have been wiping my son's face with these (now 8 months) since he was born and he has not found them to be scratchy. Neither have I. Yes, they do shrink when washed, but they are still about 12X12 inches. I have found that the same brand of cloths with the pictures on them (dogs/cars/etc.) do not shrink if you would like a larger cloth.

These are nice and durable I have had them for 2.5 years for my daughter and have just recently had another and they are still nice and soft. I also just recently purchased these for a friend for her first baby I know she will love them too!

My 2-month old son has acid reflux and spits up a lot. Although they appear thin, these burp clothes are far more absorbent than the thicker, more expensive ones we received. We are going to buy another package and save the other brands for emergencies only.

They do soften up after the first washing and we haven't had any problem with them shrinking. They tend to come out of the dryer pretty wrinkly, but they are easy to smooth out with your hands.

When I put the burp cloths through the wash they came out extremely shrunken down (at least by 50%) and were crinkled up and looked wilted. I tried to return them to BRU and they refused to take them back since I'd washed them. I told them I wouldn't have purchased them had I known they'd get like that after washing and the woman wouldn't budge. Don't waste your money.

I bought these to use as burp clothes. Immediately out of the package, the material resembled cheese cloth. Sure enough, once washed they looked and felt exactly like cheese cloth. I am very disappointed. I may use them to clean or even burp clothes once my son is much older (they are too rough for a newborn).
