I used this for my daughter when she was first born until she was just about 2mos. The sounds are comforting. There is a light on the bed that you can switch on to see the baby. It has a mesh padding to keep them cool as well. The only thing i didn't like was the sides are a little too short, and sometimes the baby would roll depending on the surface she was laying on.

We keep the Snuggle Nest right between us on our king sized bed. I love that it allows our son to sleep so close safely. There is no risk of rolling over on him. The sides are sturdy plastic covered in padded fabric. All parts, aside from the light/ sound box, are washable. My son has re-flux and tended to spit up in his sleep. Made for even more nervous nights. I had a c-section and swelling in my legs and feet and was unable to get to him quickly the first day home. I made it my mission to get this product the very next day. My husband works overnights and I do all the night feedings alone. Being exhausted and having the baby right next to me has been a sleep saver. This product is great for nursing moms. I would only change a few minor things. My son is now 10 weeks and outgrowing this fast. A longer "bed" would have been ideal so that it could be used a bit longer. You are supposed to stop using it when babies can roll over but that hasn't happened yet. The night light would be better if it had the option to be kept on longer. 30 minutes or so for feedings would be great! The lullaby and womb sounds are nice, however they are on a fairly loud setting when first turned on so they tend to startle baby awake again when they are needed longer. Having them start quieter with the option to make them louder would be better. The sides are open at the bottom allowing more freedom which may be great for breastfeeding but would be better in my opinion if they were a bit longer as baby is starting to wriggle more when sleeping and I have caught my husbands shoulder leaning on the lower pad of the Nest. The foot end is also open, which other cosleepers of this type are not. This means those others can't be used for very long at all. would also be nice if there was a wedge designed for it to elevate babies upper body. I would recommend this wholeheartedly if you want to keep baby in your bed.

Got this product after some research b/c our little guy was cosleeping fairly often. My husband was so worried about rolling over on him and so this looked like a good option. Our son was rather tall for his age so this was the best option for him given it's not enclosed. However, since there is a weight difference between me and my husband the Snuggle Nest would tilt in one direction causing our son to roll into the corner/side of it--Not my intention. So needless to say we stopped using it after about the 3rd try. He was much better off on our mattress and we became more disciplined about putting him in his crib. We still use the light up music thing though--as a distraction when diaper changing so he doesn't go rolling off.

From the moment she was born, my sweet little girl made it clear she just wanted to be in our arms. My husband and I took turns the first week holding her through the night because she would absolutely not sleep in her bassinet... Made for some long nights and seriously sleep deprived parents. I was too nervous to bring her into the bed with us because she was so little (6lb. 15oz 18" at birth) so I researched every product imaginable that could help us. This was exactly what we were looking for. We even drove 40 miles to pick it up same-day in the store. That first night was a dream. I could scoop her up when she fussed to nurse and gently put her back without having to get out of bed. We used it this way for about 4 weeks, and she probably slept in it half the night. But now she's big enough to snuggle next to me in the bed (yes, we bed share:).

The snuggle nest is now used as a safe spot for her to kick and play. We put it on the couch between us (we NEVER leave her unattended. In fact I usually keep a hand on her).. But since it outgrew its original purpose, we figured out a new way to use it. At just about three months however, she's just about done with it. So it's heading to the consignment store. Saved our lives in the beginning, so definitely worth it.

It's very good for travelers and if the baby has to absolutly sleep in your bed. For one it keeps the baby spot clean and two it protects the baby from parents that move in their sleep.
This product has a short life span. The manufacturer says up until your baby turn 4 months from my experience I would say 2 months.

Our first night home from the hospital, the only place my baby would sleep was on me or close to me. The bassinet was too big and scary for him, and I couldn't sleep all night with him in our bed. My husband went out the next day and bought the snuggle nest. It was perfect. He slept in our bed for 2 weeks, and then we actually took the snuggle nest and placed it in his travel crib in our room. At two months, we moved the snuggle nest into his big boy crib in his own room. By 3 months, he's a wiggle worm in his sleep, and tends to wiggle right out of the nest. However, he now sleeps fine without it. Having his familiar snuggle nest helped him gradually move out of our bed and into his own. And allowed all of us to sleep better!

After realizing my 1 1/2 week old baby boy wasnt sleeping good in his crib or pack n play, and noticing he whiped out the second he was in my bed i knew i had to find an item for him to sleep safely in my bed with me. I did tons of reviewing and pricing and it all lead me to this Snuggle Nest! It has been perfect so far! He loves it, just knowing he can open his eyes and see me comforts him but yet hes not all over me so i can still move around and get up without rattling him up. As for reading the reviews about babies scooting downward, i can see how that would be a problem for a baby that moves alot, but i swaddle mine up and that limits him from moving. So if you swaddle your baby he/she will stay in place. Overall im extremely happy me and him both are getting a good nights sleep : )

I have a preemie a wanted a safe place for my baby to sleep i have to face it backwards because she will slide out of it if it faces forward great except that one little thing!!!
