This fully functioning bicycle comes with a parent push handle that actually steers the bicycle. The handle can be removed when your child is riding alone. We went into Toys R Us to purchase a gift for a neighbor kid when my nearly 3-year-old son (2 at the time) found this bike and hopped on. He rode the bike around the store for at least an hour before I made him get off. I had never seen a bike like this and had never even thought of him being ready for a bike with training wheels. A week later we bought the bike for our son's 3rd birthday. He hasn't stopped riding it since we gave it to him. I love that the handle in the back is steerable and I can use it to help him get the bike started if he is having trouble and that I can quickly/easily grab him if he should start driving into the street or needs to be steered another direction. I have been greatly surprised at how great of an investment this bike has been. You won't be sorry about purchasing this bike. It is well worth the price!

We purchased this bike for my tall 2-year old and it's been a winner from day 1. It was ideal for my son since he's not peddling yet and has the parent handle. My only complaint is the handle is a bit short to my husband and I who are also tall (5'8" & 6'). Otherwise, great orange color, great bell, and pretty well-constructed bike thats not to heavy to carry or transport. I expect to get at least 2 years from this bike. It'd be great to see a BPA free labeled water bottle next go round. ;)

My son is 4 years old and 40 inches tall. He's been riding this bike for a year now. We take mile long bike rides several times a week and this bike and it's training wheels have really exceeded my expectations. Great quality and just right for this age.

I have twins so the handle is a must. This was the only bike i found with that option. The kids love them. One is the Grit and other is Petunia. I highly recommend.

LOVE this bike! My husband and I got it for our son for his second birthday and he immediatly got on and didn't want to get off. It took only minutes for my husband to put it all together. I love the parent handle, it's very easy to steer with only one hand but big enough for two if you need the extra strength going up a hill. It's very stable, and I don't have to worry too much about him tipping over unless he gets too crazy. The price was very reasonable especially since he can use it for such a long time.

WE HAVE THIS BIKE FOR MY DAUGHTER AND IT IS THE BEST THING MADE. LOVE THAT WE CAN STEER HER WHERE WE ARE GOING. IT GIVES HER CONFEDENCE KNOWING WE GOT THE HANDLE AND SHE IS NOW STARTING TO GO ON HER OWN (JUST TURNED 3). KNOWING THAT WHEN SHE'S READY WE CAN TAKE THE HANDLE OFF IS DEF A PLUS.
