This play set is great!It has every thing a kid want from a set like this.lots of play ability,fun and interactive,make all your favorite poses from the Transformers movies,the NEST base and especially the little figures!It only has one miner problem,it has to many pieces.but if my child want's it,I GET IT!

this product was amazing. i bought this for my nephew who is 12 and loves transformers and legos. this is the best of both worlds. he layed in the floor and built the robot mode. then he broke it down and made the truck and trailor. it is a great product, maybe not suitible for younger children, but an otherwise amazing product.

Best bang for your buck 5/5 for the Optimus Kreo-O. This was a fun build and had no problems with this item. It can be a difficult build but if you can figure it out it is a great end result.

This was a purchase for my 9yr old son. He couldn't put it together. It took his father and I 5 hours to construct the truck and it kept falling apart. The age range should be higher and it is not a toy that should be played with. Once constructed it should be left on a shelf. You can't build both the robot and the truck its one or the other. Disappointed kid = worst [$] spent.

I'm in High School, but only in 9th grade.
I've always loved Transformers and finding out about Kreo, I was still excited as I would be if I were a kid.

I never play with toys as often as I did when I was younger, and this is the first time I ever got hyped into buying/collecting toys again.

My dad and I decided to get many of the Kreons.

My dad thought they were cool and nice to look at, but when I let him actually build Optimus Prime he was so into building it. He said it was easy to make and it was even enjoyable for him at his own age. He also said it was like a new hobby to him and it was relaxing and stress-relieving, LOL.

Now, we've collected them all and we can't wait to build them all.

My mom isn't all into Transformers as much as my dad and I, but when she saw us building the Kreons she was honestly impressed and thought they were cool :D

Optimus Prime Kreo:

- Sturdy, stable

- Excellent awesome-looking design

It's cool-looking on the shelves. You can pretty much move all the parts too, making it easy to position into all sorts of customizable poses. I love it! What's great about Kreo compared to other brick-building brands is that their parts are more mobilized, making them easier to move, position, and pose. They're not entirely stiff, so you can move their arms, legs, etc. better.

Sometimes some parts break off though, some major, some minor. It mostly depends on how you position it or how you built it.

People are saying Kreo copied Lego, but I don't think blocks can be copyrighted. So, no one copied no one! I like Kreo's take on blocks. They did a great job making the bricks more specialized and awesome-looking.

If you are going to buy this for someone as a gift/surprise, you should consider the age as well... maybe their personality and working habits too.

I think any kid can make this, but they have to be patient and able to follow the directions. I think the directions are relatively easy to follow, so it's up to you on whether the person you're buying it for would be fit for this kind of gift! I recommend at least 6 years old, being the youngest possible age. If they're younger you should probably help them build it.

I guess the only bad thing I can say about the Optimus Prime Kreo (and all Kreons) is that sometimes it can be too time-consuming to rebuild the Transformer to a different alt-mode, but most of the time it's fun.

For building it, at first it can be confusing differentiating the different shades of blocks. For example, the darkest shade of gray on the directions isn't the same color it appears, instead it's black. But, it should be easy to figure out which is which after you build for a short while. For younger kids, you should probably help them with this so they won't be confused.

Even though the Kreons can't transform with ease, it makes sense because they're built mostly for looks in my opinion instead of like action figures, which I'm completely fine with. I think it's great how they designed everything with both a robot/alt mode perfectly.

So yeah I hope you like this Optimus Prime Kreo, it's pretty awesome and I'm sure most of you will think it's awesome too!
