My two year old was showing great interest in cooking and we wanted to get him a simple, practical first kitchen. This kitchen meets all of my expectations and he loves playing with it.
I don't find the sounds as offending as others state in their reviews. For the price, this is a great play kitchen.
Assembly took me 5 minutes with a drill and wasn't a hassle at all.

Two of the three sounds did not work correctly. I bought two of them thinking the first one was defective, they all make loud fog horn type sounds. It was so loud I had to return them and by a different brand. Very disappointed.

We bought this kitchen on Black Friday for our son for Xmas. On Xmas Eve I went online to read the reviews. I was very nervous after ready everyones. This kitchen is perfect for my almost 3 year old boy. We didn't need anything fancy. The noises it makes is perfect especially for our son. The price couldn't be any better. If you are looking for simple & not too big, this product is just perfect!

The first Sizzle n' Pop kitchen I purchased did not have any of the accessories included in the box so I went from having an excited 3 yr old to a sad 3 yr old on Christmas morning. I intended to check the contents of the box before purchase, but the cashier insisted that Toys never has issues with items missing and she assured me that everything would be in the box.

The replacement that was shipped to my home was packaged in a soaking wet, beat up box.

The oven door does not fully close or open and scrapes against the frame, causing a loud cracking sound when it clears the frame. The vegetable proportions are incorrect and the 3 yr old cannot identify the broccoli, cauliflower, or carrots that were included (despite the fact that she can identify the same vegetables in other play food packages).

Items do not fit on the shelves in the oven or other compartments because they are so shallow. The kitchen also runs down the batteries overnight with the stove feature - even if it is turned off and the pan/pot/popcorn bowl are removed from the "burner". The stickers also bubble up and peel off the plastic.

I would not recommend this product to anyone with a child with an imaginative, active mind. This is not an enjoyable toy

It's cute and my 2 kids love it but the annoying hum is horrible. I didn't even realize there was a sizzle and popping sound under what sounds like a fire alarm going off. The commercials don't show it buzzing like that. Little Tykes says it's supposed to sound like that, well maybe they should show the *real* sounds on the commercials!! I think these batteries are going to vanish and be put into something less annoying!

It's easy to assemble but you will want a drill as many holes are not pre-drilled.

My four-year-old loves this set. I don't understand why there is a loud hum underneath the burner sounds but it's not terribly annoying. This is a basic kitchen that serves its purpose. It did take my husband about an hour to assemble, though.

The burner makes a sound that Little Tikes describes as an exhaust fan, but sounds more like an airplane coming through my house. When I talked to Little Tikes about it, they said they would replace the part, but then requested so much information that I no longer have (such as information from the box and instructions) that I have a large piece of plastic sitting in my living room that does nothing. My daughter is scared to go near it even though the batteries are out!

We put this kitchen together yesterday and can't wait to take it back to the store! The sound coming from the stove is so loud and disturbing that it scares my grandson't baby sister. Other than that, the kitchen is okay for the price.

I am going to be returning this product to toys r us in appx 30 min. My daughter received this product for Xmas yesterday and when we were playing with the burner the 1st button sounds normal like boiling water, the 2nd and 3rd buttons sounds like a cruise ship is about to come through my house it's very loud and annoying. I called Little Tykes to see if something was wrong with the product and I was told no it was suppose to sound like the exhaust fan in the kitchen (last time I checked my exhause fan didn't sounds like that)and that I wasn't the only one to call and complain.
