Use color catchers when washing!

    This bedding set is really cute. I did read reviews about the color running onto other parts of the bedding. So before washing, I loaded up the washing machine with the Shout color catchers. It worked very well. There were some areas though on the yellow that had a very tiny amount of red. It is not terribly noticeable, unless you are looking for it. A couple other cons: our crib has thick rails, so the bumpers did not tie on to the crib correctly. We went with a breathable bumper instead. Also, the valence that comes with the bedding set is smaller/shorter than the valence you buy separately. So keep that in mind if you need two valences on one window.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      The set was just what we were looking for; however, it only comes with one crib sheet, not two as mentioned in the description. The wall hangings are small (about the size of my palm). Plus, the set has a corduroy material that I didn't notice in the pictures. When I washed everything but the quilt and bumper per the instructions (cold gentle cycle, tumble dry low), the brown bled all over the place. It's a redish-brown, so it looks like blood!!! I now have to take pictures and send to the manufacturer for a refund or replacement!!!

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
