My son was born large and has statistically been at 95% for height and weight. So, he grew out of his infant seat quite fast. I needed a car seat that would fit a compact car and would allow me to put my son rear-facing for a longer period of time. I love that this seat allows him to be rear-facing until 40lbs but is still good for forward facing until 65lbs.

My son seems very comfortable in this seat and we liked it so much that we bought a second one for my husband's car. My only complaint was that it was a bit hard to install, but once you get it installed correctly, it doesn't slide or move out of place. Instead of a pool noodle, I bought a memory foam pillow and cut it into the exact shape I needed to install the seat correctly.

Local fire stations and police stations will check your installation; so will Babies R Us. This is a valuable service!

We bought this seat when our fist son out grew his infant seat. We have a small car (chevy aveo-hatchback) With limited space and him still needing to be rear facing we got this one. Never had issues with it not sitting right or feeling lose. We even bought a second one for my mother in law since she frequently has him when we work. Only problem ever had was the straps being twisted. But since they are easy to get to from the back, it was an easy problem to fix. Our first seat has last over 12 months and still in great condition.

I needed a smaller convertible seat for the size of the vehicle and this has worked out very well! Still comfy, I like the removable padding and it is easy to clean. Using a seat protector and the latch harness along with the seat belt, I was able to get a tight connection and feel very safe with my LO in tow.

This car seat is amazing for the price! We switched my now 14 month old over at 7 months into it rear facing with NO PROBLEMS. We have had absolutely no problems getting it to the right incline in our Chevy Malibu. My daughter loves it, its comfy and extremely safe. Will be buying another for our daughter due in June!

This us a great car seat, especially for the price. It is very comfortable and has lots of nice thick padding, easy to install and adjust. My little one is 10 mos old and 26 pounds and this seat fits him great. I have a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (four door) and this seat fits in very nice. I currently have it in the middle facing backwards and there is still plenty of room for my older son's car seat right beside it. I haven't had to wash it yet but am hoping it will hold up to it. I would definitely buy this car seat again and would recommend it to a friend.

I absolutely love this car seat!!! It is worth the sale price offered on the website with INCREDIBLY fast shipping. Maybe that was because I live within hours of the distribution center...anyway...I was pleasantly surprise by this car seat. After reading previous reviews I wasn't expecting a high end looking, easy to install, comfy cozy seat for my 21 month old little boy. I got all of that with this seat. He loves to sit in it without it being installed in the car as well. That's how comfortable it is! I give this car seat 5 stars. Do not spend the money on the higher end brands unless you want to waste money. This car seat gives you all you need in a VERY reasonable price:) #OneHappyMomma

I bought this car seat as an extra for our second car and for days with the grandparents. My son is 10 months old and has always been very tall, so I am using it rear facing. Overall I think it's a great seat and really see no difference between this seat and my other one that cost 3x as much. What I like about this seat: looks/feels very comfy, is very soft and has lots of padding, easy to change headrest and harness height, and has the side impact protection wings that stick out but not TOO far (my sons very nosy!) To change the headrest, you simply lift or lower the metal bar in back where you want it, and to adjust the harness height you do have to rethread it but its very easy (a lot easier than other seats I've had) and takes only a minute or two. The only thing I would say I don't like about it is that it takes a little bit to put it rear facing at the proper recline- I needed 2 rolled up towels. However, I know this is to be expected out of the convertible seats. By now I have become an expert at putting any car seat in so it took me only 2 minutes, but I know at first its very hard and very frustrating, and certainly very hard for grandparents. Overall, I would recommend this car seat- the low price is just an added bonus- just be prepared to put some muscle into putting it rear facing.

Seat is a good buy but you get what you pay for. Very difficult to get the seat tight and without any movement even with a towel under it in the rear position. Have had major issues with tightening the shoulder straps and getting the strap release to open ,necessitating constant readjustment and realigning the straps.

A great seat for smaller cars (06 impreza & 08 jetta). Anchors rear facing very well in the middle of the impreza and passenger side in the jetta. I'm 6' and can comfortably drive or ride in either front seat in both cars, seat installed. Lots of reviews of problems with rear facing, not sure why. No need to adjust belt length once you get it where you need it and front seats keep it locked in snug. It might be that people are using in larger cars? I would say buy this for smaller cars and not for price. There are plenty of cheaper seats that will fit better in minivans and SUVs. Overall a well-made, no frills convertible seat.

For the money, this car seat is awesome. There is no reason to spend a couple hundred dollars on a car seat when there are options like this one around. It's compact, easy to use, and was a great buy.

Considering that all car seats undergo the same safety tests, it's a wonder to me why parents choose to spend more than necessary on a car seat.

The old mentality that you get what you pay for does not apply to car seats. We paid a fourth as much for this seat as many people do for their Britax seats, and our son is just as safe and comfortable as any other kid.

The only con is that it was a bit hard to install, and there are no videos anywhere online to show you how to do it.
