I bought this doll for my granddaughter for Christmas in 2008. It is still her favorite doll, she takes it everywhere. She has brushed it's hair so much, she doesn't have any hair. It does last a long time if you take care of it. I found preemie baby clothes fit it, preemie diapers, and stage 1 baby food, all a lot cheaper than things made for the doll. Just be sure after feeding it you get water in it til it comes out clear. I'm going to get her another one, she likes the doll she got for Christmas, but she wants a sister for "feeding baby."

My daughter got this doll for Christmas from my mom and dad. They spent a lot of money for this doll and then 4 months later the leg eventually peeled off and just fell off. I called Hasbro and they had me send her back so they could see what happened. Then they sent me a new one. It has been 5 months and the same thing is happening to her leg. The plastic that holds the legs on there is so thin. My daughter doesn't play with it rough or anything. I am not going to bother with sending it back again.

You have to push her tummy about 20 times before she really moves her legs. She barely goes forward too! Her phrases are basically the same!

    My 5 year old was ecstatic when she unwrapped this doll for Christmas, and then again when she got a 2nd one. She loves having a 'real' baby to take care of. I don't like that it only comes with 2 diapers, she could only play with it for a few minutes (diapers can only be used once or they leak) until we could buy more. We ended up buying real baby preemie diapers, they are more absorbent and ended up being cheaper. But otherwise the dolls are great, she has a lot of fun with them.

        The first moment my 10 year old daughter saw this she fell in love with it. I bought it for her and every day she plays with it. I totally recommend this it is so realistic and a wonderful toy! If you are having a late night after coming home from work and don't want to listen to talk then all you have to do is turn it off. Its hair can also be shampooed and conditioned. This baby alive doll is perfect, I am going to buy another for my daughter.

                My 5 yr old neice wanted this doll from the moment she laid eyes on her. Not know everything this doll did I bought her the doll that she continually talked about. The doll eats and drinks and lets you know when she is tired and ready for a nap. I think this doll as awesome and certainly can be bought for children older than the age range listed.
