Comments about DaVinci Emily & Kalani Hutch - White:

We purchased the hutch for the combo dresser so that we could have extra shelves since we would be losing the top of the dresser to the changing pad. Maybe I should have realized that you couldn't use the dresser as a changing table if you got the hutch but we didn't realize that until we put the dresser together and then looked at the hutch instructions. With the backing to the hutch there is no way to access the straps of the changing table that connect to the dresser. Also the hardware comes with 2 brackets but doesn't tell you where to put them; just set up hutch to dresser. Also there's not really room for baby on the surface if the hutch is there. They could lay down to be changed but I just pictured me bumping our baby's head on the shelf daily! It's a beautiful hutch and if we weren't using the dresser as a changing table (one of it's appealing features) then I think we'd love it. Just don't want to spend money on combo dresser, hutch, AND a changing table.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
