A changer pad is included for your convenience, and the safety strap keeps your baby in place to prevent tumbles. The two lower shelves provide ample storage space for diapers, bags and other necessities, and the changing pad can be removed to provide shelving for any room in the house.

          Product came shipped without hardware. Particle board had big dent and wood sides hand many nick and scratches. Box looked like it had been shipped many time with lots of tape and labels. I am sure it was a return that was just sent out to us. Returning and looking for a better product.

                Comments about DaVinci Monterey Changing Table - Espresso:

                The top shelf of the table, where you are supposed to place your baby is 1/16th of an inch thick and placed in unsupported grooves. The metal brace that is placed under the shelf is also relatively thin and unsubstantial. I immediately returned the item. I cannot imagine a parent trusting a child on such a poorly made table. If money is an issue, it would be better to buy a pad and use the floor.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
