        This helmet is pretty much what I expected when I ordered it. It works as advertised. The voice is a bit loud and has no volume control. The power switch seems a bit sloppy...hope I don't have issues with that. The helmet weighs a couple of pounds...may be a bit heavy for the little ones. My 6 yr old wore it trick or treating and he would take it off and let me carry it between houses. The "adjustable strap" inside is a bit awkward and not easily adjustable. My son likes it.

          My 6 year old loves it, we have 2. I was having a blast with how fun it was for him, for me to play with it, with him; I can be a big kid myself! He loved playing with dad! My 16 year old, thought it was fun, dad being dad and enhancing the helmet technology!

          My 5 year old really wanted this toy but when we got it, we were disappointed. First, although adjustable, the helmet did not fit properly. It was too heavy with sharp corners. If someone tripped, there would be some serious damage. They should add some padding. Next, the voice was way too loud. Why put the speaker inside the helmet with no volume controls? The speaker should go on the outside. I have compromised hearing from going to too many rock concerts and even I was bothered by the volume. But, if you outfit your kid with ear plugs and make sure he doesn't trip, I could see the toy being fun.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
