I didn't have a shopping cart cover with my first 3 boys but received one for my 4th boy. This is one of my favorite shower gifts! I use it at least 3 times a week and it's holding up well. I love the toy attachments and size of this cover and how small it compacts. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1. I wish it had slightly more padding. 2. Although the PATTERN is adorable, when the child looks down at it in front of him...the animals are UPSIDE DOWN!

When I originally used this shopping cart cover, I was really pleased with it. The shopping carts at our local grocery store are extra wide. I'd heard quite a few mothers complain that other brands of shopping cart covers didn't fit into these particular grocery carts. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Infantino Compact shopping cart cover did. It seemed to do well in wide or large shopping carts or high chairs. I loved that I could hang toys off of it (so convenient when I was trying to distract my baby during grocery shopping!). I also loved that it folded up into a little carrying pouch. I was also a huge fan of the super cute fabric.

But after the first few washes, both side seams split open. It appears that the fabric was thin and the pieces tore away from each other. I think it would pointless to try to repair. I feel like it would happen again due to the fabric. I've thrown away the packaging my seat cover came in, so now I'm stuck with a useless shopping cart cover. It doesn't matter how nice the design is if the quality is inferior.

Don't waste your money.

The fabric is thin and cheap, not soft. It did not stay on a restaurant high chair - too loose. It was too small to fit over the grocery cart. It was too difficult to get it into the 'bag'. Not happy at all and wish I hadn't wasted the $$. :(

Pattern is super cute. Had to order online but I love it. I had to do it a couple of times but did not have a problem folding it into its own bag. Just another great feature!

I was quickly disappointed with this item! I am a working mother and on weekends I am always running around doing errands; so shopping carts are a must. I thought it would be convenient because it is supposed to fold up into itself and turn into a "carrying case". You really need a masters to put this thing away!! If you consider purchasing this item.. unfold it in the store and try folding it back up in a nifty scond.. I am sure you won't purchase it! Also is has a strap to secure the child in the cart that is not fixed to the cover; so if you accidentally forget to snap it closed before putting it away you have a great chance of loosing it, if you loose it... you need to purchase another cover!

I previously wrote that this cart cover was great, however other than fitting every cart, the greatness ends there. The sippy cup attachment doesn't velcro very well...my one year old can undo the velco in a heartbeat. After two washings, the outside portion of the cover that goes over the back of a cart, has deteriorated. It appears that the outer portion has a coating that doesn't hold up to washings on the gentle cycle. Don't recommend.

The product itself is exactly what it looks like online, and you can tell it's not cheaply made.
My only problem is how long it took to ship. It didn't even leave the warehouse for a week, then took another week to get to me. I just wish I was informed it would take that long. It's a good thing I didn't need it right away. Just makes me concerned for people buying "online only" items from my registry. I hope it doesn't take as long.

I was looking for the cover that we originally got for my daughter, but it's not available any where. So I spotted this, and thought it was super cute, so we ordered it. It is really cute, lightweight and big enough to cover the carts/highchairs. So what's the problem? First, it's not padded and so if you have a squirmy baby on a cart, they are likely to hurt themselves when they move around. And secondly, the strap that keeps it all together is not attached. We used this item 5 times, and the strap is gone. I contacted the company and hope that they can help out and send me an additional strap. My advice? Look for comfy/puffy/pillowy covers for that comfort and cushion, and straps that are sewn on. You'll thank me later. My daughter's is the best one, even came with a pillow! I think the name of it was Buggy something, not sure.

I really like this print, the attachement option is also great. I wish it had more coushion, but I guess it's better than a hard metal cart without a cover. It's also cool that it folds into itself.
