I fell in love with this set as soon as I laid eyes on it. My son, who is almost 1 now, still loves his monkey bed and mobile. The mobile is cute and holds up well now that my son can stand and pull on the it. However, my husband and I timed the mobile and it plays around 3 minutes, which is not enough time to put my son to sleep, so he gets mad and we have to go crank it back up several times until he falls asleep.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This mobile is adorable, and goes great with our theme. I had no problems with is scratching the wood (I would imagine one would be careful not to move something that is clamped on), but it does play for a short amount of time.

This mobile is really cute and my son loves to watch it but unfortunately when you wind it it will only play for about 2 minutes making it really not useful for anything but looking cute sitting there, it doesn't play long enough to calm my son down

This mobile is very cute and my son has loved it since we brought him home. Unfortunately when you wind it up it will only play for a couple of minutes. It is very cute but in the grand scheme of things I wish I had bought a mobile that I didn't have to wind up every couple minutes. Cute - yes. Functional - No

We got the bedding and love it, but I won't use the mobile on my crib because the plastic that connects to the crib scratches the wood. My crib was too much money to get scratches on it!!
