The Mattel Disney Princess Ultimate Dream Castle is just what every little girl hopes for. Standing three stories high and with over 50 play pieces, this dream castle features some of the most iconic rooms specifically themed for each of the princesses. A staircase leads the way from the top of the castle to the bottom and features Cinderella’s famous lost glass slipper. Jasmine’s magic carpet is an elevator that flies her into the starry night sky, just like in the movie. At the first level of the castle, Belle’s dining room is adorned with Lumiere’s beautifully decorated silverware, and napkins dance on the table to delight all guests. Snow White’s vanity room features the renowned magic mirror that shows the future, and Sleeping Beauty rests in her bedroom as fairy godmothers flutter overhead to protect her from harm. With more than 50 play pieces, this dream castle is fit for a princess. Play items include different characters and accessories that all fit in the castle.
Cinderella’s staircase
Cinderella’s staircase takes dolls from the top of the castle to the bottom, or vice versa. It includes a lost glass slipper that Cinderella must find before the clock strikes midnight.
Jasmine’s magic carpet
The elevator is Jasmine’s magic carpet that soars through the night sky. Show Jasmine the shining, shimmering, splendid world on a magic carpet ride.
Belle’s dining room
Be the guest in Belle’s dining room, where Lumiere and friends put their service to the test. Napkins dance around the table for a fantastic fine-dining show.
Snow White’s vanity room

I have two daughters who are 3 and 5 years old who were very excited when we got this castle as much to my chagrin they are (still) princess crazy. It was easy to build and they loved that there were specific rooms and areas for all of the various princess'. They were able to piece things together from the box that Cinderella was on the stairs because "just like the movie" that's where she lost her slipper and they loved recreating those movie moments. There are a LOT of the pieces and accessories which is great as I've witnessed them acting out a ton of scenarios. I am 3 weeks in and this castle is still getting a lot of action and that alone is very rare in our house for a toy's shelf life. I can't recommend this castle enough as my experience has been nothing but positive since it was set up.

My daughter asked Santa for this... It was the first thing she had asked him for so we made sure he brought it for her even after reading the horrible reviews. I usually take reviews with a grain of salt, after all most only write one if they have something negative to say but seriously, if you are considering buying this take the negative reviews on this as truth! This thing is a TOTAL piece of junk. The stairs fall apart, the pieces break, the table in Tianas kitchen broke, the stove and fridge won't stand up. The chairs fall over, there is no way a doll can actually sit in them. The magic carpet doesn't move right, sleeping beauties bed doesn't fit, her table broke... All this and my child won't even play with it because it falls apart every time she tries too. There is nothing positive that I can say about this castle. The makers of this should be ashamed of themselves, putting such a cheaply made item out there and charging too much money for it. I wouldn't take this for free!

I am so disappointed with this castle! It is poorly made and keeps breaking all over! It is expensive so you would think it would not contain such cheap easily broken parts! Just terrible and I would not recommend this to anyone especially given the price!

    What a waste of money. We purchased this castle for our 3 year old. It fell apart from the start. The stairs constantly fall off and the pieces don't fit together as they should. The bed that comes with it is actually too long to fit into the castle as is shown. Very poor quality. Definitely not worth the $$ or the time.

        We bought this for our 5yr old daughter for Christmas. She asked for a Barbie house, but since the only Barbies she has are the Disney Princesses and Princrs, we figured this would be awesome. We looked at other houses, bigger, more rooms, etc and around the same price. We chose this one ultimately because of the Princesses. We even scored because Wal Mart had it cheaper, but Toys R Us did a price match! She was ecstatic Christmas morning! It wasn't too difficult to put together, however the stairs are flimsy. They don't stay put together at all and now they broke. We aren't even going to bother gluing them. She rarely plays with it now. Kids and toys. Great house, she loves it, cheap peices, fun.

          I bought this for my grand-daughter for her January birthday because it was the one thing she wanted for Christmas and did not get. I left it to my son to get but after reading reviews, he decided it was not worth the money. After Christmas, it was half price and probably worth that. I did use small screws to keep the staircase together and glue to keep the towel rack and tea cart together. It seemd to hold up after a weekend of being "kid tested" by several girsl and it was worth it to me to see my grand-daughter's face light up when she got it.

              This is was a birthday present for my daughter's 4th birthday. she loves it, she was playing with it for hours. there are some problems with the stairs they do not keep together for some reason. assembly was easy i did it with her in less then 30 minutes. overall i pay for it 60% less so it was worth it if i have buy it for the full price i will not purchase it for her.

                We were disappointed with the quality of the castle even while assembling it. Afterward when things began breaking and the flimsy structure popped apart, we were even less impressed. However, my daughter LOVES this castle and has so much fun playing with it. The details in each room are well thought out and I only wish more attention had been spent in creating a quality product. That said, when I contacted Mattel about my concerns they were incredibly helpful, friendly and willing to offer a full refund. When I explained my daughter would be very upset if the castle went away, they were able to find replacement parts for the items that were broken or falling apart and I had the parts the very next day. I am beyond impressed with their customer service. They made this a very positive experience. While I am disappointed with the castle, I am a big fan of Mattel and would happily buy their products in the future.

                Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                    This dream castle looks so fun...but don't be deceived...it is horribly made! The stairs fall apart, the base of support on the chairs is so narrow, they fall over constantly, the furniture falls apart with minimal handling. My daughter is 4. She tried to play with this and became so frustrated every time...it ended up just taking up A LOT of space in our play room. Now in the garage. Do not buy this! I expected a better product from Disney.

                        My three year old received this as a gift and it is one of the worst gifts ever. The staircase falls apart with the slightest touch, as do the chairs and other furniture. The magic carpet is anything but as it is difficult for an adult to move up and down, let alone a child. The castle as a whole is wobbly and feels like it is always about to fall over. It is cheaply made, although not cheap to purchase. Our three year old is very gentle and is constantly frustrated by the pieces breaking and falling off (the bed barely fits). We will be getting rid of this as soon as the newness wears off!
