My daughter received this as a gift to go with the monster high bike. It is a cute helmet. The straps are really long and difficult to adjust. Other then that I believe it is comfortable enough.

Worked When It Needed To

Bought this helmet for my 7 year old. This evening she had a serious scooter accident and broke bones on both sides of her body. I can see marks on the helmet where her head hit the pavement repeatedly, but her head and neck are completely undamaged. In her words "It was like my head was a bouncy ball, that part didn't hurt at all." The ER said it was a fantastic purchase on my part and praised her for wearing it. It saved her from more serious injuries. While I am sorry we tested the helmet, worn properly this one will absolutely protect your child's skull. In the store it was easy to adjust and she liked the styling. Tumbling down the street it was effective protection. Wish they made full body models.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
