These are [$] skates. They look like [$] skates, they act like [$] skates. They do exactly what they are intended to do - be worn by a beginner skater in the driveway or local rink. THey are vinyl, with plastic wheels, and they get scuffed up easily. I didn't buy them for their looks. We have had them for over a year, and they have been worn all over. My daughter thinks they are comfy, and she loves to skate in them. Good enough for me!

Two of my daughters received these skates as a Christmas gift. I had planned on purchasing another brand, but Grandma went out and bought this brand first. They are so cheap and junky. Now that I see the price, I see why. The velcro snagged up the laces even before the kids got them on their feet--poor design. The wheels came so tight that they barely turned. The material the skate is made of is already wrinkling and they just look really cheap. I would recommend spending a little more and going with the Chicago brand. I have purchased them in the past and they were durable and better quality.
