First time mom of twin boys means short cuts and convenience purchases to the max...thanks to these SwaddleMes and the smaller SwaddlePods, the boys sleep for about 4 hour stretched at night. They LOVE these and so do me and daddy! The quality is great, the velcro tabs need closed and secured before washing or else they will stick to other clothes and ruin them. They fit very well, my boys are 12.5 lbs and 24" and the small/medium fit great! Their arms, if not placed at their sides WILL shimmy the wrap up towards their faces so be sure to place their arms at their sides before closing the swaddle wrap. Their little hands stick out on occasion but to make sure they don't end up with the swaddle wrap around their faces as some have described, I open the wrap back up and secure their arms and hands at their sides. As far as the harness slit in the backside, I have not used this feature and to be honest, had no idea what it was until I read the website from the manufacturer....I probably will not be using that feature as being in the car with these on is pointless, but for use here at home in their cribs is primo! Also, as a side note for all of you looking for amazing short cuts and convenience items to retain SOME sanity with taking care of babies may I recommend these SwaddleMe wraps, any type of soft infant carrier for your front so you can go hands free while keeping baby close, cloth diapers for use as burpcloths, Angelcare baby monitors with sensor pad for ease of mind against fretting over SIDS, pack n play with changing table to keep from destroying your back even more than what pregnancy has done to it, and combination baby gear such as 2-in-1 swings/high chairs/bouncers, etc. That will save you money in the long run as well as minimize clutter of baby gear all around the house and means less to get rid of later since baby won't outgrow these items, just will grow into the next stage of the use of the item. I REALLY hope these tips help other mothers and moms-to-be! :) Just remember, your sanity and your baby is worth the extra expense.

It's a good idea, it just doesn't work as well as we thought it would. The material is cute but not very comfortable. Also, my baby is a wiggle-er and got his arm caught in the side hole at night. He was very uncomfortable and we never used it again.

My 3 month old still loves to be swaddled, but grew out of his sm/med wraps. This size is perfect, and he sleeps well :)

The small/medium swaddlers we had shrunk a lot and were way too tight by the time my daughter was 10lbs. We tried sleep sacks at night but she still needed to be swaddled. The larger size has worked well and she has very rarely gotten her arms free (she is about 12lbs & 24 inches right now). I suspect that this one may shrink as well and hope she will out grow the need to be swaddled before that time. Also make sure you close the velcro before washing or else it will stick to the rest of your laundry. Overall we are pleased with this purchase.

My big baby boy always seemed to get out of swaddles when I used swaddle blankets. After a week of trying to figure out what to do, I purchased the smaller size SwaddleMe wrap. What a life saver! He outgrew it, and now loves the bigger size! He has room to kick his feet around, and I know he won't get out of these! He loves being swaddled up! I have tried other brands, but the velcro on these seem to hold even the natural forces of my sons' wild arms and feet. Plus the pattern is cute to boot, too! It may seem like a waste of money- but trust me, its worth it!!

I used the small/medium swaddleme blanket when my baby was little, and we loved it. It helped her sleep for at least an hour longer at night, and helps her nap. When she grew out of the smaller size we ran out to buy the large, but they're way too big. Her little arms easily squirm their way out of the blanket, which defeats the point of it. And the scariest part is that no matter how low we put the top of the blanket on her, it works its way up to cover her mouth and nose! We're working on shrinking them because we'd love to have a swaddleme blanket to fit.
