My mother got this for my son for his first birthday. Like most other things, I thought it would go to waste. We decided to bring my son to the store so he could "pick out" his present. He gravitated towards this one pretty quickly, especially because of all the buttons, (he loves electronics of all sorts, and buttons are an instant magnet.) And to my delight he still uses it! The hidden compartment under the seat is great, (he will put some random toys in there,) and I do love the back handle behind the seat. Overall, really a great pick. And I never thought I'd say that!

20x better than what I thought!

I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday (which was Chuggington Theme) only a few days after it came out online. I was a little hesitant to purchase an item so new with no reviews but my son is a huge chuggington fan and I figured I'd take the chance. And boy, am I happy with what I got!

My son's very tall for his age so some of the other "ride-on" toys available are pointless because his legs are too long to ride them properly. This one is taller and made stronger so it's the perfect size for him. The age range for this toy is 2-4 and I think that's the perfect range. My 5-year old niece was even riding it at the party and it looked like it was a good size for her too.

We love all the buttons and lights, especially the Chuggington Theme Song and horn. It also has an Action Chugger button (which is my son's favorite Chugger) so that was a bonus! In total it has 5 buttons (I believe) and a horn at the top.

My son spends hours on this toy going from one end of the house to the other. My husband even loves the toy (no he doesn't ride it), and he's very picky about what we get our son. We are very very very happy with this toy!

This is a MUST for all Chuggington Fans!!!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
