This was a great gift for my nephews. They just got the game systems and absolutely loved the stand. They considered it another toy. Very durable and perfect size for a dresser or table.

Lets face it, this Mario Holder is just plain cool and that is why I bought it. It may only have one function of holding your 3DS, but is still worth considering for any true Mario fan out there. No it won't charge your Nintendo device and if I read correctly, it never said it would so that is not a valid complaint like one or two have mentioned. Yes that would make this even more awesome, but then you would also see this at a higher price. Would I buy this item again: Absolutely!

This is definitely a conversation piece. It holds my red 3DS perfectly. I plan on buying a couple more for my nieces.

I ordered this on black Friday a day or two later I get an email saying they canceled my order it was no longer available talked to customer service I was going to have to recorder and pay for shipping if I wanted it will never order from toy r us again

It only holds the smaller DS models, so the regular DS won't fit. (But it states which ones will fit in the description, so I wasn't expecting it to work.) It also works if you have a case on your DS. I don't know in a Nerf one would fit because I think those are thicker then most other cases.
Mario is pretty cool and solid, but like anything he can fall over, but you have to bump him pretty hard. I haven't noticed any flaws or paint missing like others have said. So I'm not sure if I'm lucky or they were unlucky.
All and all I think this is a pretty cool statue, but I wish there was a bit "more" he could do. Like be an actual charging station. I originally bought this as a gift but decided to keep him.

this thing is terrible! i mean why are you going to waste so much money for a useless statue that does nothing. ALL it does is that you could place your ds in is hands. WOW! thats impressive! (sarcasm) this thing by no means "protects" your ds. the minute someone bumps into the ds drops and then the mario statue falls on top of the ds! i know this because i bought it and my solid black ds now has a big, red paint scuff on it due to mario falling on it. this product is terrible, i really cant belive nintendo would make somethin like this! i does absolutley nothing! and its so much money! if you want a stupid pointless 12 inch piece of plastic that does nothing then buy it, but the only person i can see buying this is collectors. i returned this the first day i opened it. maybe if it could charge the ds then it would be use full, but please, please, please do not waist your money on this thing. also the paint on his hat and arms chipped when he fell, so its also very bad quality. do not by any means buy this thing.

Holds any model of DS nicely, a great product. Quality is fantastic like usual from Nintendo. If you need protection for you DS, Mario is there for you.
