I've used this swing since my son was born and he is now 8 months and we still use the swing every day. It's perfect for him to nap in if he is too fussy to go down in his crib. When he was a newborn, it was the only place he'd sleep. Now that he's older, I will put him in there while and play his Baby Einstein DVD while I get a few chores done. I was a little concerned at one point when I thought the power wasn't working anymore since it stopped swinging and would turn off, but there was something at the top that just wasn't clicked in all the way, my husband figured it out pretty quick and got it up and running again. It was easy to put together and take apart. We've moved twice with it already. My son doesn't seem to like the tray on the swing so we don't use that too much. He does like the toys, so we just take them off and let him play with them. Overall I think it was one of the best gifts I had gotten!

I loved the colors andmy baby loved the toys but he was only in in for about 3 months before the motor stopped working. He was only able to go to speed 3. He was not a hugh baby so I don't understand why is stopped all the time. Not a good swing if you are trying to keep baby occupied while during house work. Waste of space and time.

My daughter loves this swing and falls asleep in it every time but I think the mobile is too close to her face and the animals could look more realistic. The elephants on hers are deformed and you can't even tell what their supposed to be, I also wish it had a heartbeat sound so she could listen to it. You can't store this swing very well though and it takes a lot of room.

We picked out this swing because we thought it looked nice and we are not finding out the gender of our baby so we wanted something very neutral plus it matched the pack n play we also have. We also liked that it would swing both directions because you never know what way your baby will like best. I almost decided to register for a different swing because I really didn't want one that ran only on batteries. After we had it together we discovered that you actually DO NOT need batteries!! It does plug into the wall!! You do still need batteries for the seat features but to actually use the swing you do not need the D Batteries!!
I have not actually put the swing to use yet as I am not due for a couple months but I am very happy with it so far. The only down side I have found so far is the size. It is rather large and does not fold up.
My husband did the assembly and I was not around for the entire process but he said it was easy and it did not take long.

I registered for this product thinking all it's features would be utilized plus I liked the colors and the fact I could plug in to an outlet and save on batteries. Not really the case, my son rarely visualizes the mobile since it doesn't recline far enough to see. The position change function is rarely used since I have in a corner of the room so he would be staring at a wall. This swing is big and should require a space ample enough to be able to swing. Forget storage and transport. You have to break the whole thing apart since only the legs come off, so keep that box if you plan on buying and keeping; or returning. The vibration works well and my son appreciates it by sleeping to it; unfortunately it runs only on batteries so we replace anyway. The timer function has been helpful for us since once he's asleep he stays asleep but that may not work for everyone. Find another swing that will accomodate your life and don't fall for how CUTE this one is.

The first few weeks were great. Then the motor stopped working. My daughter loved the highest speed and now the motor only keeps it going at a low level. Very annoying that I have to take it back.. thank God I kept the box just in case. The company said they would send me a new motor, but as a mom of a baby with colic I have no time to wait for a new motor.. not to mention, if the first one went out after 2 weeks, what makes you think the replacement is better?! I'm so angry that I have been having to manually push this swing every few minutes until my husband gets home and we can take it back!!!

We Love this swing! Our baby girl is now 8 months old and 19 lbs and she can still use it because it's Bigger than most little swings!!! I just used blankets around her when smaller. It's a Big Swing so it does take up Lots of Room but you can use alot longer than most swings!!!

I received this as a gift for my little one. It wasn't the swing that I had registered for, but it looked like it would be rather cozy compared to other brands since it looks kinda like a hammock with more support and it had the feature of being able to swing different directions - not to mentioned it was rather cute. Unfortunately, my son hated to be in this swing! I was disappointed since both my niece and nephew absolutely loved to swing (they had a different brand) and I figured that my son was just one of those kids that didn't like to swing. Well, after resigning myself to owning an expensive piece of baby equipment that I wouldn't get use out of I visited my family and tried out the swing that my niece and nephew loved. Surprise!!! My son loved it and would fall asleep in it. I figured that he had finally gotten older and could now appreciate the soothing quality of the swing so I tried ours again after returning home. Well, I was blessed with an angry baby! This swing just isn't as cozy as others, which really defeats the purpose of why I wanted a swing. It just took up a lot of space in my living room. I honestly couldn't even use it as an infant chair because my son would get so angry being in this. It really is a shame, since it was cute and was actually quieter than the swing my family owns.
