My one week old has already used it and he seemed to like it. I like the fact that it doesn't just vibrate and it bounces lightly like a motion as if he was being held and goes to the rhythm of the music on the bouncer. It was easy to assemble and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bouncer.

I bought this because we took an unexpected trip to my parents house while on vacation. I did not have my bouncer, and I needed a place to put my 5 mo. old. He weighs 14 lbs, and it bounces just fine! He overrides it and bounces himself, but it kicks in as he dozes off... Despite his weight, he does not weigh it down. We bought a different pattern (Coco I believe), so maybe there are issues with the manufacturing of the Shiloh line of products? I actually love this bouncer more than ours at home, and I will be cramming it in our already overpacked car when we go home! Our other bouncer is a trip hazard as the wire frame sticks out and catches our toes!

We have only used the bouncer once. My son is too small for the bouncer. The buckle goes over his face. We hope to use it once he is bigger.

this bouncer is super soft and comfortable..I have noticed like other reviewers that the bouncer does lose its strength if the infant is over 8 lbs. .I have changed the batteries and still the bounce was getting weaker as the infant grews..I figured out that if you take off the weighted metal toy bar the bouncer actually bounces like it should..I guess the toy bar was throwing the bouncer off and in turn didnt bounce strong enough..Unfortunity you have to take the toy bar away for your child to get bounced in it. ALso if you slide off the battery unit on the front your child can use her body weight and feet to bounce the chair like a traditional bouncer.. I wish it had a vibration or some more special features. but my infant loves lounging in it..we have tried the swing and other chairs but this one craddles him just right and he sleeps in it no matter if its on or off..so if anything it makes a great napper.

I like this bouncing seat for my son. It's light wight and easy to move around the house. My son enjoys it and is comfortable. The movement and noises are nice. The hanging animals don't keep is attention but you can hang other toys on it.

the idea and concept is perfect
like others have reviewed the bounce is terrible
my son is almost 13lbs, a month old and the chair can barely bounce him but it states it's rated for 25lbs.
he's almost half that and it cannot bounce him??
i now understand why it was on sale and the shelf was still stocked FULL compared to the other sale items in the store.
will be returning the chair and using the old school method of bouncing him in an older chair with my foot, boo!

Very easy to assemble, I did it after coming home from the hospital while my baby was sleeping. Light weight makes it easy to carry around the house. I read other reviews rating it low because it doesn't bounce however I found the bounce soft and soothing and my baby loves it. It has been a very helpful product, the baby is comfortable seating or sleeping while I prepare something to eat, or read my emails. If you are looking for a cheap and reliable product, this is it!

Easy to assemble & cute, but not impressed with the "bouncing" & "vibrating". I have 2 bouncers - one of them barely bounces at all & neither one of them vibrate. Thankful Babies R Us is letting me exchange them.

So far so good. Baby isn't here yet for me to say whether the bouncing motion soothes or calms, but the chair looks cozy and cute and the colors are great. The chair bounces fine with nothing in it...I rated it 4 stars just because I don't know how it will do when there is a baby in it.
It was easy to put together and was packed nicely.
