I have the green version, was buying the pink version just now but I was suprised at some of the reviews. Yes the zipper is a little stiff but I think this was done to prevent little hands from getting pinched. As for the limited storage I think that was done with expectations that parents would prefer to purchase the downloadable games rather than the mini cartridges that too easily get lost.It seems like quality construction, well made, protective, and with a little ingenuity you can easily store up to 12 game cartridges instead of 6 just by stacking 2 cartridges in each well 1 at a time (See my pic). With the first cartridge entering the well upside down and the 2nd cartridge going right side up that limited storage problem is solved :)

I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the case does hold several games and has a sturdy cover for the leappad, however the overall experience with this I would not get another one and would not recommend others to do so either. As many others have stated the zipper is terrible, it has always been hard for our 5 year to zip it back up but only after a short time the zipper like several others have mentioned is broke, there is no way to fix it so it is useless. I am hoping I can return it still for a refund because of the cost of it. Also, the place where the extra stylus goes does not hold the stylus in place so I would recommend that if you do decide to go with this product that you do not store the stylus there, if I would not have paid attention to this the stylus would have been gone the first day however after I realized it was not staying in I removed it and put up for safe keeping.

        This was a GREAT product, until the zipper pull somehow came completely off the zipper track. There is no way to fix it, trust me, I've done the legwork. Such a shame, as it wasn't cheap and it was the perfect case for organizing all the games for it.

        Faulty Zipper

        I read all of the reviews and was prepared for a potentially faulty zipper but was shocked that it broke within 1 week. If the zipper wasn't so cheap I would love this product as it holds games/and leap pad (without a skin) very well. I am currently working with support to see if I can return or replace the product. I'm hoping Leap Frog will be willing to stand by their product. They definitely need to upgrade the zipper!

                I love it...it has really protected my daughters Leapfrog when her backpack is being carried around and when it get knocked around...its great when you have a 4yr old and is carrying it around :) It has a very hard shell and alot of slots for their games and the extra pencil

                  I did look at reviews, but only seen after a few months that a few had problems with the zipper. I bought this for my daughter for Chirstmas, who never got to open it. I placed the LeapPad 2 in the case went to zip it and the zipper seperates and there is no way to fix it, even took it to a shoe repair and unless they cut the case no way to fix. Very poor product.

                  Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
