I thought this would be a fun toy to play with my daughter, but it keeps falling apart. I would have to super glue it to keep it together. Also, regular marbles don't fit in it. =(

We ordered this product after borrowing a marble game from his friend. This product is not very well made. The marbles are not real marbles and regular marbles are too big. The wheel gets stuck when the marble tries to go through it and the loopty loop only works sometimes. It was difficult to put together as there is 1 way that they recommend using it. If you don't follow the instructions the pieces do not fit together well. This leads to lack of child creating own run. I would not recommend this product.

My son loves it but he wants more marbles. The only marbles that work are the ones that come with the set. Does anyone know where i can purchase more marbles?

I bought this product for my 3 year old as my mother has something similar that my daughter loves. Well, I should have just bought the same one she has because this one was absolutely impossible to put together correctly. My friend and I tried to put it together so that my daughter could play with it. The instruction diagram was extremely difficult to understand. A step by step guide would have been more helpful. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

We received the Imaginarium Marble Race as a Christmas gift. It was for my 3 1/2 year old daughter. I, too, wonder how it got such good reviews. First, the pieces do not fit together easily. Some are longer/shorter, looser/tighter than others. Second, it can not be moved or it will fall apart. Third the "marbles" are plastic and do not roll very well. Finally if this toy was made for 3-5 year olds, you would think that they would be able to put it together themselves. Not so easy when the pieces do not match. I was hoping it was like the marble races we had as a kid.

I purchased this toy for my daughter's 3rd birthday and she loves it! It is a great toy that allows for creativity and learning and can be played with for a long time. The only challenge is only being able to play with it when the 1 year old is not around. We were cautious about buying this set due to mixed reviews. Even though this set is not solid like wood, it does really well. Overall, we are glad we purchased it.

Easy to assemble? No.
High quality? No.

I'm not sure how this product got rated so highly by others. The pieces do not all fit together well; some are too loose, others too tight. And some were obviously twisted from having spent time cramped in the box, and the gears too easily get stuck in a non-spinning state.

It doesn't come with instructions, it comes with a confusing diagram. The manufacturer could learn a lesson from LEGO and include the STEPS to build the thing, instead of a diagram that's near impossible to read. Heck, even the addition of color to match the color of the pieces would help.

Our 3 year old had fun dropping marbles in while we tried to put this thing together, but it doesn't stack up to the one you may remember playing with in your own childhood. Even a short time playing with this will result in a non-functional toy because of course a kid's gonna tinker, and to put it back in a state where everything fits is an exercise in patients most grownups don't even have.

It's back in the box to be returned promptly to Toys R Us.

Great gift! It's been 2 weeks after his birthday and he still plays with this set, which makes me very happy, because normally he gets bored within days. The only thing is that I could only find this toy in pink and the gift was for boy, so I thought the manufacturer could at least put a boys picture on the box as well. But my son didn't complain about it, he was too excited to start building the set. Btw, it comes with extra parts, so you can build your own set, not just the one shown in the picture.

The only complain I have is against Toys R Us company: when placing the order I specifically unchecked any subscription to any newsletter, but still I am bombarded with promotion emails on daily basis. I had to take my time to unsubscribe form these newsletters, but they don't stop coming. This is a very poor business practice, and I am disappointed in this company on this regard, you act like a low spammers out there...

This is definitely a great toy to play with. We were so excited that we all in our family including adults played with this toy for hours. Unfortunately this toy doesn't last longer. Not even for a week. I am a great fan of Imaginarium products, but this particular product is very flimsy & took too long time to assemble. Now that it's all collapsed while we try to move it to another room & can't put it together as we don't have the instruction manual.The pieces could have been sturdier. We are going to miss this toy :(

We bought this for our boys last Christmas. They are now 6, 4, and 3. They still love to play with it whenever we get it out. It is easy to put together and there are enough pieces that they can each build something. It is fun for all of them and mom and dad. I have no negative comments about this product. I am considering buying a second just so that we have more parts once the baby decides to play too.
